being a good player in a SANFL GF (premiership) at 17/18 is a good sign? in regard to speed and fitness?

I think the KPP stocks could use a bolstering. Chol, Garthwaite, Miller and co. are a bit iffy. If we dont land the undersized KPP gould id be ok with mcansty / worrell

who was it that said i wonder how diesel would go at draft camp

I don't think we are in the business of bolstering anymore.

I think our advancement in the recruiting area means we have moved on from bolstering and with first rounds and early seconds at least we are looking at genuine strategic team list improvement long term and possibly with a mid term kick if not short term

He obviously doesn't use a Coca Cola yo yo

Hurn didnt go to draft camp due to the sanfl grand final ...

i dont really understanding what your saying but gould might be the 'best available' at our pick

there are only really two options without first pick a 'big' or a 'small' and most seem to be classing gould as a kpp

James Aish played in two SANFL premierships prior to being drafted too. ;)

Jack Trengove did as well and was almost best on, but TBF injuries ruined him.

For every 1 Diesel williams there are 1000 Anthony Banik's

I don't see it that way.

I don't even think we will be looking at a small. There are a lot of mediums to look at before we worry about a big.

There are a lot of left footers that is something we need to. We have a lot of roles to fill before fussing over bolstering positions.

We won the premiership but seriously we are pretty far from a complete team. For example RCD can play a role we do not have and consequentially add and improve our team and combinations ignoring bolstering.

The GF was a nice win but we can easily improve on that into the long term to!!

Dear Mr Magic,

Your post possesses the enviable qualities of being both very clear and very intelligent.

The trouble is, the clear bits aren’t intelligent and the intelligent bits aren’t clear.

But well done anyway.

Sincerely,

M Rise

Stunningly and stingily well put!

A Hawks poster in the main draft/trading area talked about trading pick 30 in 2019 out for RFC 2020 future second rounder so not to use on Maguiness

I would do that
Hawks want to go up in this years draft, to do that they need to trade their 1st next year. ATM they can't do it because they don't have picks in all the other rounds next year so they have to trade in a future 2nd. Our 2nd next year should be around 37 but with NGA, Academy and F/S picks that could blow out to 43 or so. A good trade for us then.
Only consideration is that we are left without a 2nd next year which means we can't trade next years 1st.

I think we'll be right with picks next year even if we do trade our 2nd.
Think we might lose a couple next year via a Trade for various reasons.

Suns are still open too trading picks 1 or 2 at the right price.
Lets go Tiges:
Picks,19/38/39/41(2020)-18,36,54(2021)-Pick 18. :D

i would give your left nut for Rowell at Tigerland

(anderson would be sick too , big tigers fan :) )

Richmond have recently won two flags and have a pretty good balance of stars and promising young kids. If we were to make an audacious topping up type trade now would be the time.

That said the other strategy of getting four kids we think are in the best 41 players and try score some late bargains again is appealing too for balancing out the list 'holes'

we should try get hawks future first ...

they might be falling off a cliff soon

to get drafted ahead of dusty he would have to be doing something right

Hawthorn will be thinking they will rise up the ladder with Scully proper pre-season, Mitchell back, others settled and Patton there. They might think there first round pick will be late in 2020 so we get it at better value especially allowing for 2020 compromised draft.
They want to move up the 2019 draft apparently, might need a pick from us to help do it.

Maybe we get pick 30 for our 2020 second rounder, we get there first rounder in 2020 for

picks 39 and 40 in 2019?

Apparently Hawks chasing a 2019 first rounder but do they have the currency?? Probably should have traded pick 11 back with the likes of GWS to get another 2019 first rounder.

Just looking at the order Hawks would have to involve Geelong.

Hawks give up pick 11 and pick 30, 2020 first rounder, pick 42, get pick 14 from Geelong and pick 19 and the 2020 future second rounder from Richmond as well as pick 56, Richmond get pick 30 and 42 from Hawks, and hawks 2020 first rounder, get picks 24 and 36 from Geelong, give up 2020 RFC second rounder, picks 19, 38, 39, 41, and 56 Geelong get pick 11,pick 38, 39 and 41 lose picks 14, 24 and 36,

I did the last paragraph without thinking too hard what RFC would lose what RFC would lose out going back from 19 to 24 in the phantoms

Druggies look like picking up Towner... as if half our coaching and list management team wasn’t enough

word is they relocating to punt road and changing the sash colour to yellow

minrows.

We could do with a top up in our reserves
There senior players could be handy

With GWS trading up I assume they will lose 40 when a bid for Green comes. Meaning we will have three picks in a row? Gives us the flexibility to go best available and target multiple positions (providing we don’t trade up of course)
Having the 3 picks in a row now suits us as it effectively our picks more desirable to trades

As if they will even think about trading 1 and 2!!!! I know that’s what’s been reported but there is zero chance of that happening imo. It’s just the reporter using the Suns to try to make the news, and us supporters being bored and making up deals to get the impossible done😂

Just give them Rance & Cotchin and see how that goes

The suns do owe us one for taking Lynch off their books last year.:D
