2 years on the list , 1 game in seniors, high draft pick, was in front of Soldo, Chol in the pecking order now last, was behind Jack before Lynch came in and he was also behind Moore before he was injured. Makes sense. Kid doesn’t wanna work hard as others. I hate saying all this cos I rate him highly buts it’s no BS he wants to go back home for more opportunity.

Yeah don't think so, you really think Dimma would allow the AFL boys who played in the VFL flag to get on the sauce till all hours of the morning with an AFL GF coming up. Coffield was interviewed on SEN after the vfl GF and pretty much said as much stating that the AFL boys will delay their celebrations until after the AFL Grand Final.

Saints trade Bruce to Dogs for 32.

We trade Butler and 41 to Saints for 32.

We then trade Menadue and 39 to Fremantle for 26.

Fremantle trade Langdon to Melbourne, we trade McIntosh to Fremantle and 38 to Melbourne, Melbourne trade 22 to us

Go to draft with 19 22 26 & 32 and watch opposition salt flow as the reigning premiers add 4 top 35 kids to their list while moving on 4 players no longer required.

While Chol did well this year with his opportunities, CCJ in the VFL finals proved he is worth more than Chol and IMO will develop significantly more than Chol moving forward...

So I reckon if the club show him he is next in line for the Ruck/Fwd role, and he plays 5-10 games next year, everything will be fine!

His contested marking in the VFL finals was outstanding.

To be fair to CCJ (assuming the anonymous message board rumour has a semblance of truth to it) nobody saw Soldo taking the leap he has

When he signed his extension he was probably told from 2020 he’d likley be a clear second choice behind Nank

We have gone from no ruck depth to a position where we have 4 decent options (Nank, soldo, CCJ and 2 phones) - nice problem to have I guess

I wouldn't be too worried. I think he'll play quite a few games for us over the next two years of his contract and want to stay.

When Jack retires he'll team up with Lynch, as well as playing second ruck, allowing us to fit in another smaller player.

Noone is having a go at him mate. He has stated how he feels and this is a forum. Finally have some insight on one of our players than most the other dribble on this thread such as complaining about compensation picks for pages on end, biased opinions on how much how reserve players are worth. CCJ is talented, I hope he stays, he needs to work hard in pre season, has more attributes than the other talls so should be in our seniors.

What’s the point of this thread Toffee if posters can’t provide us with information they have first hand from players or second hand from a mate/family member etc etc. It’s a lot more interesting than the garbage comments saying how boring this thread is cos there is no insight. You would be surprised how willing some players are to have chat to an extent when you see them out and about
