Latest news from the Suns is that David Swallow wants out

We have had an interest in this guy for about 2 years and have in the past made strong inquiries.
Not entirely sure we still have as much interest now, considering that Sier looks to fill that spot.
Don't think Swallow would be that expensive
 
Am I the only one that thinks it's not a good idea to spread information from the club to people on the internet?
Wouldn't we (and the club) prefer that their trade plans are kept secret?

This will be the player that Richmond pick up and they'll start saying Swallow is a better player than Lynch, like Prestia and Treloar haha.

Although it does say potentially back to WA. GCS deserve Fremantle to pay overs for him.
 
(PREFACE: Yes i know its Carlton, yes i know what he has done to date in his career.)

Call me crazy but i think we should go after McKay... Clearly on the outer for whatever reason at Carlton. If we loose Moore or don't land Lynch, I think he could be a good player.

Reeks of Sicily to me. A young player who just needs to be in the right spot (team or position). I would be pretty happy if we pull him.

Definitely has the build, maybe height the issue?

I would be very happy to snavel McKay but I doubt he's on the outer or that he'd come cheap.

Happy to persist with his development in the midfield. I think that's where he'll add the most value longer term.

Yes, I agree...with the exception of myself.
I need the information & there are no leaks from my house.

He has enough of the attributes, IMO, but do you think that’s the best use of his talents?

From the exposure I’ve had to his game the three traits I love about him are his size, movement in traffic and hands. A KP size mid that moves through the contest well with their legs, arms and hands is a tantalising prospect. Impending rule changes might make him more dangerous through that part of the ground because he’ll be working in less congestion with more one v one tackle attempts.

If we’re looking to grow his game perhaps the marking threat Cripps poses around the ground is his play?

I doubt they would let him go that cheaply. He’s shown a little bit and is still young as far as KPP go. Him and Ben were the youngest in their draft year iirc.

I think you're correct, seem to recall Carlton being apprehensive about playing him early for that reason.

We need key forwards/defenders, disagree that he would be cheap.

Cheap in terms of trade or salary cap hit? Is he a need? What do you think he'd cost in terms of the trade?
