Kade Kol (hard to spell) told GC he wants to go to Melb as well? Looks like we ain’t as enticing as the old days any more?

So Marcus Adams to the Lions, and if May goes anywhere it seems Melbourne will be in a better position to get a deal done.
What a failure of a trade period this shaping up to be. Again.
...and what about doing it for 3 years in succession...no wait, what about 4...or 5?Consecutive trade periods though.
We were purposely quiet last year.Consecutive trade periods though.
We were purposely quiet last year.
And a lot less support from the midfield and other defenders than we would provideIt was 6 (according to an article I read yesterday) and he had a relationship breakdown that week.
Fair chance he had other things on his mind that week.
It’s sounding more and more likely the ball is in our court re Darcy. I think a deal will be done, Sydney will be waiting to see if he gets an agreement with us before they pursue. It sounds like they’ve been told he wants to stay, but meetings with us over the next day or two with his contract will decide. We simply must keep.According to Tom Harley, no offer to Moore yet. But will decide “in the next couple of days whether to move forward or not”.
Ie next couple of days, we will hear if Darcy requests a trade to Sydney.
Trade for show, draft for dough. Seriously, we are getting upset because Kade Kol is nominating Melb? Give me Crisp or Langdon any day of the week thanks. Perhaps May wants to come to Collingwood but deep down he knows that it will be too hard to get a trade done a la Chris Judd. It’s a big leap of faith to trade Hogan on the premise that Weideman can fill the void on the back of one game against an undersized defence. Melb might bring in May but are losing a potential 8-10 year star in Hogan. We simply don’t have players/picks to satisfy the GC. Resign Langdon and Moore, get Moore and Elliott fit and allow Dekka to do what he does best, draft future guns! And a lot less support from the midfield and other defenders than we would provide
We had a very quiet trade period last year and it didn’t do us too much harm.So Marcus Adams to the Lions, and if May goes anywhere it seems Melbourne will be in a better position to get a deal done.

Nah, just a second round pick and a bloke who took his career for granted. We had a very quiet trade period last year and it didn’t do us too much harm.

I wouldn’t worry too much about Melbourne, Steven May would be a good get for them, but Kolodjashnij is an average footballer.
Strange period for Melbourne, they’re really attractive but I think they lack a lot of class and polish. I think they’re further away than people generally believe.
His skills/visions/decision making is fine with time and space. Apply and pressure and it's a very different story.
His hands I'll agree are pretty good.
Earlier in the year he may have stood out, but his last two months of the season were lackluster. Didn't feature in Oakleigh's bests in any of those last six matches - and rightly with his impact not there. Was he carrying something that you're aware of that inhibited his performance? He just looked slow and lacked impact.
Other recruiters I'm talking to are agreeing with your projected range for Quaynor and it's horrifying for such a limited player.
As I said before, he won't be inside my top 30 power rankings. It should be a hard pass if a first round bid comes for Quaynor.
I relatively find his scope to go through the midfield more interesting than what he shows down back as that type who can only play one phased of the game well at a time. As a defender he is just a role player and not one who does any one thing to an elite level. Hopefully he can make it as a midfielder - he shows he can get to the right positions and win it reasonably well on the odd occasion he has gone through there.
Snoop really silly question what height is Quaynor?
What position is he likely best suited?
And do you see him and Kelly potentially be senior players next season?
So Marcus Adams to the Lions, and if May goes anywhere it seems Melbourne will be in a better position to get a deal done.

Wasn't that a fizzer (at the time)! I sincerely hope it was due to having bigger plans this year, rather than the salary squeeze.
It's not looking good that our direct competition for season 2019 in Tigers and Dees are going to significantly improve.
Lynch to Tigers
May and Kolodjashnij to Dees
Yes Dees will lose Hogan but I think they played some really good footy without him.
Seems we havent managed our cap as well as other contenders have.
They have more to give up.Why is May necessarily going to Melb? Are they paying more?
BL really must not rate Frost who still has one year left on his contract.
