We effectively gave them Aish to downgrade our 3rd round pick to a 2nd round.

Terrible deal for us. And we still didn't get a single 1st round draft pick this year like we said we wanted to.

Yet we can trade picks right up to and include draft night.

So we take picks 35, 62 and 74 into the draft. Is there a rule about how many we have to draft, and is a rookie promotion using a pointless pick (74) considered taking someone in the draft?

If so I could see us just drafting at 35 and 62 and then using 74 to promote Lynch (or Mihocek if we want to promote a year early). Assuming we don't do any further trades.

Well he knuckles down like every other listed player and gives his all for the jumper...hope his luck changes and has a great 2020, he’ll either be rewarded with a new contract offer or gives us good trade currency if he chooses to leave.
