Might be a pairing we are after, like FOS and Lalor but I agree, I wouldn't be trading for 2 unless we fnd a way to keep pick 6. If 10&11 gets us 2 and a later pick or even a future pick (i.e. F2 or F3), I'd be more ok with it.

I want as many r1 picks as we can get, not sold on giving away 2 to get 1.

Maybe I’m being a bit simplistic in my reasoning, but after 2 lean drafts, this is probably our only opportunity to address multiple needs, and be confident as you can be in any draft over the last 10 years that the depth is there.

Likely we’ll have pick 1 next year, and possibly multiple picks but there’ll never be another draft hand like this year’s in a draft as strong as this one ever again.

If you look at our list we have all the experienced players we will need to guide our younger players. We also have a heap of younger and less experienced fringe players sitting in that 15-30 list bracket. We don’t really need any stop gap players, we need to find 8-12 players to fill the top end of our list.
