Crazy 3 way trade time:

Richmond get 6,13,20

Gold Coast give - 6,13,20
Gold Coast get Rioli, 29, 47, 57, Noble

How do the suns bid for Lombard though?

Yes I agree. We have a tendency to get shafted in deals so I’m eager to see how we stand up in this one.
I'm going to call you out again on this.

Name ONE player we wanted to keep that we got shafted on in the last ten years. It's a fallacy.

When you dig down into it we've assisted players we couldn't accommodate to leave (Ellis, Butler, Higgins, Deledio etc) and we have received overs for players who wanted out (CCJ, Soldo etc).

Why you continue to push this narrative that we get bent over is beyond me. You seem to have a negative attitude to the club and the list management team that brought us three flags.

We'll need those late picks to get Brisbane's first rounder.

Getting both trust me we need them. Tigers need the draft picks before Tassie highly dilute the draft. Don't you think it is a mutual benefit.

6 and 13 it is.

I think it started with Cameron Hicks on Twitter, who has no proven track record as of yet.
He does have a mini track record, called Hobbs wanting out of essendon before it broke.

A bit of his other info has been backed up on here by others with track records too.

I think this is where it's at too.

They want him as they believe he elevates them (which he probably will to be fair) then they have to pay overs given the contract situation.

I also think Dan knows this too, we will dig our heels in on this one.

Gold Coast having Kmart Rioli on standby in case they can't get the real deal

I had a feeling they would pull a stunt like this but I thought Dan Houston (although they wouldn't get him) would be the bait.

Yeah, but I don't get how you can agree with this and then say we'll bend over and take 9 and 17 for a younger, superior player in Shai. It's 9, 10 and more.

We can ask but there’s no way they’ll accept that. And if it were 6 & 20, I’m pretty sure Blair would take it. But what should I/we know. Whatever eventuates will be fair for all with Hartley involved.
6 and 13 for Dan and our future second might get it done. (We are gonna have a crapload of picks next year too, don't worry.)

I get your point, but i think there are more sensitive issues at play with the Bolton one, that as a club and as decent humans, we should understand.

I know it is still all a business, and we absolutely still need a great outcome from the Bolton trade that must include one of the top end first rounders.

I dont agree that Shai is the superior player either, not even close to Rioli from a consistent output level.

Shai's flashes of brilliance are far superior, but over the course of 24 games, Rioli plays at a higher level week in week out.
