If GC want Rioli it must start with Pick 5
Bolton 9 and 17 GTFO. 9 & 10. They are getting a game breaker. A player who can win a game off his own boot.
What do they think this is half price Tuesdays. These boys are contracted, if they want them to break their contracts then pay overs. If not, they stay.

Geeze talk about condescendingGold Coast believes Daniel Rioli wants to make a fresh start of his career at the Suns, happy to allow relative Maurice Rioli to continue his career at Punt Road and up for a fresh challenge after nine seasons.
Rioli is contracted until 2027 at Richmond and the Suns have had no preliminary discussions with the Tigers over a trade but are hopeful Adem Yze will eventually be open minded.
Rioli and Nick Vlastuin are likely to compete for the Jack Dyer Medal this year, with the Tigers likely to be able to secure two late first-round picks from the Suns if they come to the party.
Rioli proposed to partner Paris Lawrence during this year’s off-season bye but she could continue her DJing career in Brisbane and Gold Coast if they relocated.
Relative Maurice just signed a two-year deal so is now established at Punt Road with a strong future ahead of him.

But it remains possible the Tigers might simply refuse to trade Daniel Rioli given he is contracted even though the incentive of two first-round picks for a player who will be 28 in April will be tempting.
It comes with Adelaide interested in home grown forward Jack Lukosius but with the Suns likely to ask for a first-round pick in exchange if he does decide to head to the Crows.
The Suns have made clear they are keen to keep Lukosius despite him finishing the season in the VFL but it seems clear their public stance is not replicated by a hands-off message behind the scenes.

Fremantle will need at least a top 5 pick to even get Richmond to think about trading Bolton. Highest paid player at the club behind Lynch. West coast could definitely offer their pick 3 here. Bolton would like playing next to Reid.
The Rioli deal has to involve their 1st selection. Currently pick 5 otherwise it is simply not worth the risk of letting our best performed senior player leave.
Baker will either go for pick in the 12-15 range (future 1st if we get in more picks) or will sign a 1 year deal on good money to take him through to free agency.
Graham - I think depends on Baker, they seem like best buds and might move together - if free agency then pick 22 if he signs a good enough contract.

Picks: 1,3,5,14,21,22
Future 1st (freo) - Baker
Take Finn, Jagga, Lalor/Langford, Berry/KPF that slipped. Trade 21, 22 into next year then sim to round 1 and we pump Carlton by 8 goals and the universe is back to the way it should be.
