Rory Sloane out of contract EOY. He is 33 but I wouldn’t be against us bringing him in on a Tarrant type 1 yr deal, especially if Cotch retires. Always rated his leadership and work ethic. Plus opportunity to snag him in a development role.

Locking $650k into a Himmelberg who’ll be 28 next year just doesn’t excite me. He will stifle Gibcus’ development if we played him back and he’s just not a very good forward which is why GWS moves him back.

I think he plays back coz they got hogan and riccardi in f50 and they can’t play defence , he’s kicked plenty of goals before

Run your eyes over their form I wouldn’t mind a key forward kicking 3-4 a week

Pickett was on base coin when he arrived though. To get Hogan to come back to Melbourne would have required a decent deal for him.

Pickett had been a clean skin for years playing in the lower levels before we took him. Hogan had issues all through his time at Freo before he was traded
