There once was a young lad called Polec
Who was said to be seeking a rolex
He left the ol' Lions and ran home a cryin'
forgetting his flagon of XXXX

Ray Button was sitting there thinking
That the Lions trade thread was stinking
"This really is poor
and it makes me snore
enough to drive me to drinkin'"

Cheers, hic.

For something completely different, I was just looking at a story on the Courier Mail site about the drafts of 1992 and 1993. Leppitsch and Martin Pike started in 1992, and Lappin, Chris Johnson and Chris Scott in 1993.

Success didn't come immediately for these guys They had to work and mature for quite a few years to taste the ultimate success with Brisbane in 2001-03.

Puts some perspective on the impatience of the current generation to be given what they see as their rights - "All Rights, No Responsibilities".

Stop derailing the thread!

We were thinking it couldn't go wronger
When off ran the ruckboy named Longer
He fell from the sky when the Hawks passed him by
Now a Saint he's a spoon yet to conquer

Or just amend the title to 'Trade Talk 2013 and Related Limericks'...
The Limericks family. They are all related.
