We are a front half team and lock the ball in the forward line.

Geelong play the opposite and like to attack from defence.

Dude, Miers sucks.

Close is pretty good, but not a huge goal threat. I'd much prefer a deep forward crumber than another half forward. But then again he's a pretty consistent player which is a positive.

Narkle I'd take for dirt cheap if there's no better prospects.

On Rankine - I'd imagine all this media BS about crows players and assistants thinking Crouch is a required player is just a lame way to try and inflate his trade value.

Narkle appears to be a very average player even in a good side, would be almost useless for us with our labour-intensive grindfest gameplan. Close is better but can't see these types of players making much of a difference for us, wouldn't want to pay much for them.
