I know you dont want to get rid of him but; what would you want from the Crows for Adam Thomson?
Whoops. Ignore earlier reply about the wrong Thom(p)son.

I thought Schoenmakers would be taller.

Hoping that at least one out of Marlon Motlop or Farmer will turn into a real HBF.

I'm fairly confident that Farmer will make it as an AFL footballer, i reckon he may be more of a back pocket though in the mould of Andy Collins or Scott Lee. Motlop i'm not sure, maybe a back flank, but i'd probably prefer him to be ultimately tried as a small forward.

I am only going on gut feelings here, but IMO there is a chance he could turn into a "real" top shelf short back. Here's hoping. :thumbsu:

Maybe...although i think he'd be doing better in NA's Reserves atm if he was. I'm quite a bit more confident that Farmer will make it at AFL level as a small defender.

Staker. I like him. Hes taller than Tredders. Hes quick. Hes got fantastic contested marking ability and hes agile. Hes inconsistent but with a new environment he might stand up on a more regular basis. I reckon out of FF he'd be good for 40 goals a year.

Murphy. Im not sold on him. He was given plenty of opportunities to make FF his own at Freo and he couldnt do it.
Murphy has been in the mix now for 5 years!, still can't break into Freo but is a nice straight long kick for goals, Staker has everything, you would take him on looks alone but his mind like a lot of the senior west coast players is not right.i have seen a bit of him and even in the wafl he looks a lazy arse, the sort of guy that needs a rocket up his backside to get his mind on the job.

I thought he was taller as well, but sometimes its hard to judge with the U18s. He looked quite tall out there. I think hes a good 3rd round chance but Ive got a worry about his pace. Had a good carnival though.

I think it may be his height at the start of the year? He seems very highly rated in bf forums.

Depends on when the measurements were taken.

Following the Taylor Walker saga last year he was listed at 187-8cms from memory but has since grown to 191cms.

What about Ivan Maric? Worth chasing? Ready made AFL ruckman, can play forward, bit of grunt about him

Does he still have **'links' into Port Adelaide?

**Is he still routing Gregs daughter?

After doing over the crows like $2.00 floozies regarding the Bode & Symes swaps, I can't see them falling over to do any more trades with us.

A few others I like the look of -

Matt Rosa from the Eagles
Adam Hartlett from the Blues
Cleve Hughes from the Tigers
Paul Bevan & Tim Schmidt from the Swans

Tim Schmidt would be a great pick up for you. He is a South Aussie boy, very solid. Trouble with him at Sydney is he is too much in the same mould as Buchanan, Bird and Moore and has struggled to get ahead of them. I believe he could have a very succesful careers given the chance and you wouldn't have to give much at all to get him.

That's all we need. Another KPF. :(
