You received pick 31 (Joel Reynolds) & pick 47 (Andrew Welsh) for Hardwick.

The rest of your tirade, well, that has been put down by others

I was asking if anyone knew if there was any substance to the Salopek rumour?

I didn't ask for a near incoherent rant, thanks, maybe one of your fellow Bombers can address the question without foaming up?
.

hahaha lol well who else has put me down? I'd like to know.

Truth is I did want Salopek last year, but I have cooled on him dramatically. If you think logically however Port will trade him if they can get value for him, there future is Hartlett, Boak, Butcher, Carlile and anyone else under the age of 25, anyone over that has a price on their head will be open for trade.

For the next few years your administration will want to lower your salary cap payments.

This is why they have moved on or tried to move on the Cornes brothers and Dean Brogan types.

Call it foaming at the mouth all you want, but if your too scared to face reality then dont ask at all?

No - the opposite is true. We have recently only paid 92.5% of the cap and the club has stated that we will go to 100% to be competitive. This is also in line with the wishes of the AFLPA.

Carlton approached a Norwood power forward

Apparently Carlton have spoken to Sam Rowe a couple of years in a row.
Nick Duigan often states that a number of his team mates have been spoken to by Carlton and nothing came to fruition and this character may well be one of them:

To further give this rumour some credence, Brett Ratten was spotted at the Central v Norwood clash yesterday.

Not asking about worth

Asking if anyone else have heard the rumour, try keeping up okay.

You do know the AFL rules re salary cap, don't you?

Every club must pay at least the minimum, Port will be paying the maximum in 2012.

A big name @ Hawthorn will be on the table.
A young premiership player offered up for Gunston......knocked back.
GWS sniffing around Bruest .
Hawks are talk'n with North on one or two player's from each side of the fence.
Hawks looking at Warnock . Not sold .
Stay tuned as we will be players in trade week .

^^
Bet it's Xaiver Ellis, could get you a second rounder at best
Firstly the reason why so many players havn't resigned with their respective clubs is because they are waiting to see what happens witrh the salary cap increase/ Players pay increase etc.
So just because they havn't resigned doesn't mean they are legging it..

Secondly on to the topic at hand Ive heard several whispers from people in the media over hear that Sam Mitchell has an agreement with GWS that he will not only go to Gws but also as the Inaugral Captain.

Other players linked to GWS are:
Paddy Ryder- Ess
Leigh Brown- Pies
Shannon Byrnes- Geelong.

That's unfortunate for Sam Rowe because he dropped every ball he went near, had a pretty terrible game.

forget Ryder going there, he is staying along with Hurley, GWS will not get either of these 2 Essendon players. so try again.

You'd get him in a token deal if you really wanted him. i.e. 3rd round+

He'd be a decent pick up for you guys, I'm sure Neeldy would know of a few "lesser lights" who currently can't crack the senior side at Collingwood who he would be eyeing off cheaply.

I agree. 3rd round pick should easily get the deal done, if they wanted him. Would be a decent pick up but is going to struggle to crack the pies midfield rotation.

Read on our board that SEN reported Essendon were interested in A Hams ( rookie ) . WCE could upgrade Hams this season , so I would imagine Hams is off limits .

Read in todays paper rumours that Simon McPhee ( Claremont Coach ) has been approached by WCE have been scoffed by N Daniher .

My guess is we have spoken to McPhee , however now that S Burns is staying we probably wont contract McPhee . Simon McPhee could have been our two year succession plan to take over from Woosha in 2014 . S Burns might be in line in 2014 ,.... thats pretty good also .

Very interested in Hams.

Could leave WC if EFC offer him a better contract.

Hams has been offered a main list contract , with WCE - interest from other clubs would have helped Hams contract negotiations but we would have main listed Hams anyway ! The club is just waiting on the Players Payment deal to be finalised to complete the contract .

Heard a rumour from a low credibility source that Neeld was a fan of McCarthy at the Pies, and is interested in bringing him to the Dees. Haven't seen too much of him. What do Pies fans think he is worth?
Please don't let this be true.

I highly doubt it is, but would be a disaster if it happened.

Would Hill + a 2nd rounder almost get Mitch Brown?

Come on dude....effectively you're asking Mitch Brown for a second rounder, Hill has no value what so ever...more than likely he will be de-listed and picked up by West Coast for free.( Thats if West Coast are interested)

I agree with you all in that West Coast would be ripped off though i'm just chucking it out there because I'm surprised someone at all would trade for Hill.

Also I think some are over-rating Mitch Brown, he does have potential but he hasn't gone close to setting the world on fire just yet.
