Imagine getting a midfielder who averages 21 disposals per game and is top 10 in the league in goal assists?

I'd take that.

EDIT: I'd like to add that they are completely different players. I reckon they would compliment each other beautifully.

Sure that sounds great. But don't you think we need consistency?

I love Wellsy, but i just don't think we have had that from him.

But if Yarran turned into a Shaun Burgoyne type, well then that would be something too.

Wells is more consistent through out his career than Burgoyne.

Who knows. I guess its whether we are willing to go with someone that you know could be anything but no guarantees. Or go with someone you know will be reliable.

Either way, i just hope who ever we go for turns out to be a star for us.

The club doesn't have to lodge their final pre-National draft list until November 14. IIRC, the club left decisions on players like, Troy Makepeace, Joel Perry and David Trotter until very late AND they did change their mind about Thompson's contract extension this year. So Brown is still a chance to be delisted (although scottywiper's post in the BWOWny Bandwagon thread has me worried).
