Yep. I’m baffled that we’ve reached the point where he’s the best ruck option we’ve got.

Clarko didn't start Goldy in Round 1 LAST YEAR ffs.

You could argue that decision almost cost us the game.

Without Hughie playing a mighty game in the ruck to fill in once X went off, we don't get those 4 points.

So just double checked. NMFC website said we had training this morning between 9.30am and 12pm.

Not a single report here. Bizarre.
Am I to assume not a single BF North fan made the trek there today?

Me neither. We’ve been spoilt with 15 years of Goldy though. Unrealistic to think we can replace him easily.

I take it from the Xerri love that CCJ has been universally written off as any form of ruck answer?

How did he fare in the recent scratchie?

CCJ’s ruckwork is abysmal and he doesn’t cover the ground all that well. He is also a liability at ground level, which means he offers us nothing other than a big body when he plays in the ruck.

X at least is really physical, can cover the ground and has decent follow up when the ball hits the deck.

Probably some international category B rookie thats never played AFL that we haven’t used out last lost spot on.

All X has to be is competent and competitive, if he can't do that then Free will get a crack at some stage.
We drafted a potential high ceiling ruckman in Goad. If X can get us through the next 3 or 4 years while he develops, then job done.
