Gooners are a bit sensitive on the topic. Not allowed to highlight the hypocrisy of crying foul that they can’t fulfil a fixture only to send Mari and Kolasinac on loan and play both youth teams.
Yeah I have a vested interest. Let’s call a spade a spade. Their postponement request is down to poor squad management threatening possible to impending Derby humiliation. Just gutless.

Like if *Burnley strengthen after postponed games, they now get the new player/s for the postponed fixture.

We don't make the rules though, nor did we break any either.
Exactly. Other clubs have been doing it - the precedent was set regardless of whether it's a farce in the first place. Can't blame a team for taking advantage of a situation.

The difference is you've already mentioned potentially trying to postpone your second leg of your league cup game which presumably means you PL game this weekend is also in doubt. Why is this hard to understand?
I've not seen anything about the second leg of the league cup being PP?

There's literally discussion of it in the League Cup thread. They're now 'optimistic' they won't need to postpone it, but as the league's rules are laxer (again, why people are discussing the rules) that still leaves it open to them trying to postpone a league game.
