Yep its a sh*t rule. No club should ever be involved in the postponement decision process. It should all be based on health authority information only. They know who is positive. Who has to isolarte and whether an outbreak is likely.

I bet there will be massive relegation battle games where this will come to a head later in the season. Team a has a few cases plus injuries. Demands postponement because of precedent set earlier in the season. Team B demands game be played because its the best chance for them to get 3 points. Shitfight follows. You heard it here first.
It's already kind of starting - Burnley have a few games in hand now. Changes the complexion of the season for them.

Big enough to not need games postponed after a player gets a red card, I'd say?
Gooners are a bit sensitive on the topic. Not allowed to highlight the hypocrisy of crying foul that they can’t fulfil a fixture only to send Mari and Kolasinac on loan and play both youth teams.

Yeah I have a vested interest. Let’s call a spade a spade. Their postponement request is down to poor squad management threatening possible to impending Derby humiliation. Just gutless.

Stated several times that the game shouldn't have been PP.

We don't make the rules though, nor did we break any either.

And that's the start and end of it.

So why is it still being needlessly discussed?

Can't change it now.

Because the rule is still in place..?

Because you're talking about postponing further games?

Sorry. Forgot it was a public forum and that you loaned someone out this morning to make yourselves look even more foolish.

Will remember next time you talk about your next Netflix show you’ve watched. Netflix has already been discussed Cruffy ;)

We didn't break any rules though?

The FA have get themselves to blame for this mess. And let's be honest, the FA had no right to accept our request.

But what difference does loaning someone out now make a difference to the game that was postponed three days ago?

This is going around in circles. Yes you didn't break rules, that's why people have issues with the rules..

The difference is you've already mentioned potentially trying to postpone your second leg of your league cup game which presumably means you PL game this weekend is also in doubt. Why is this hard to understand?

I've not seen anything about the second leg of the league cup being PP?

There's literally discussion of it in the League Cup thread. They're now 'optimistic' they won't need to postpone it, but as the league's rules are laxer (again, why people are discussing the rules) that still leaves it open to them trying to postpone a league game.

I pray that this NL Derby, whenever it is being played, doesn't end up being a 0-0 draw. I'm stocking up on popcorn for it now.
