Travis Boak - Over rated by our supporters?

You know it's a ****ed up game when your leading disposal getter had 3 direct turnovers to goal.

You can never deny the effort with Boak but those turnovers are exactly why he will never be as revered as Selwood or Pendlebury.

They wanted to offer him 1 more year and I doubt they will change their mind on that, but he will never have the skillset to be a premiership player and should seriously consider an off field role instead.

Tell him that the only way he’ll continue to draw an income from the club is as an assistant to the fitness staff. He’s a fitness guy. Football… not so much.

I'd absolutely love boak to be employed by the club in some capacity, but our fitness staff need to be trained & qualified professionals.

But he is as anti-clutch as they come.

You can take it to the bank he doesn’t kick the winning goal etc etc.

Maybe he could be a fitness guy at the club or something, couldn’t be any worse than what we have now
