Never thought you would ever post anything reasonable Panther, you have surprised me well done.
Gold coast seem to be being quite clever in their targets.
They are clearly going for guys that have reasons to leave beyond the simple financial incentives.
Ablett - family lives there
Cotchin - plays for Richmond
Brown - pissed about trade week, likely to feel the squeeze at Hawthorn
Cloke - had very tough 18 months personally, may want to move.
They are not just targeting superstars and mercenaries. Clever in my view.

Doesn't T. Cloke get the shakes when he thinks about the Gold Coast? He may become catatonic if he returns.
He needs to leave Collingwood, he's not doing himself or the club any favors by staying and continuing to shank kicks. Leave, get a new start with a new coach and try and start anew.

It's been said in interviews on radio a few times the HS have given a directive to their journos to go out and discover who the GC recruits are going to be.
Between now and the end of the season I'm guessing another 25 players will be linked with the GC.
Some already 'linked' are...
Ablett, C.Brown, Hurley, Cloke, Harbrow, Franklin... any others I've missed?

Why all those? Because they're all our players who are out of contract this year.
