Trent Cotchin is the best player in the AFL

I wouldn't do Ablett or Watson based purely on age. The ones I'd consider would be Murphy, Danger and Pendles.

For those wondering why this is being discussed now, (despite it being against the Dogs) Cotch had the best game I've seen this year from any player last weekend (naturally there probably are plenty of better that I haven't seen). Over the last month he's gone to another level. Reminds me of watching WC games just to see Judd. That good.
You tiger blokes are seriously kidding- would not swap Cotch for ANY OTHER PLAYER IN THE AFL!!! Will be the best player in the AFL very very soon.

Anyway, as said before, this thread is crapola. Just could not resist one last post due to some of the total drivel being said. He is our best player in a long time and will be a legend eventually. What opposition supporters think does not matter, we see him week in, week out and know how good he is and he will only get better.

I don't think even the most inept teams could replicate your record over the last 30 years. It's almost an achievement in being completely incompetent.

Anyway I think any team with the talent of Jake King and Vickery scare the hell out of me....and the rest of the competition.

Melbourne. Bulldogs. University. Saints. Geelong. Fitzroy. Hawthorn. North. Swans.

This is the worst thread on BF
Yep, I was spot on with this call.

Only thing is it has actually gotten worse, Cotchin is a great player and is only going to get better, why can't we just leave it at that instead of the mass circle jerk?

Yep. But didn't Hawks choke against Sydney, and didn't the Tigers smash Sydney. Face it, we're better than you

/sarcasm
Okay, I must admit, all at Hawthorn wish we were just a little like the Mighty Richmond Tigers!

Played the leave it alone and it will go away strategy. But 26 pages and it is still here. Its a laughable thread topic.
Why is it laughable. The silly posts are from the likes of you and other non Richmond trolls.

Make a contribution and tell me apart from the "silly thread title" what is wrong with the OPs post?

On form Trent Cotchin is the best player in the AFL this year. He should win or place for the brownlow. He has consistently all year been in the best players and is extremely damaging with the ball. Will probably win the Coaches Votes Award this year too.

52,000 members plus says that we as Richmond people are immune to such banter, atleast try and troll us you poor individual.. lol

And it seems Richmond supporters are immune to caring about success...as are their players.

Hawthorn 1925 - 1961 0 flags, 0 finals appearances, 1950 you didn't win a match.

So how about you pull your head in as the Mayblooms have a past record that is abysmal going well beyond the 10 years we have been without finals.

The difference is we have our house in order. You clowns celebrate when ever Cotchin or Martin take a dump. One club celebrates mediocrity, the other one wins premierships. By the way, I reckon Cotchin will be better than Tambling.

Cotchin is probably the only bloke who could walk off that ground with his head high, the rest of his side was pathetic.

Deledio, Martin, Nahas, Reiwvoldt - YOLO, muppet, Rance, Morris, Mcgaune, Jackson, Newman - this would be the leadership troupe, we're all smashed and didn't give a whimper.

I'd be embarrassed after that effort.

We played poorly, but the effort was fine.

What effort?

The scoreboard flattered your side immensely.

That was to keep the flicker alive and that's the effort dished up?

We controlled that game from the outset, not even a whimper.

Where was he in the last when your season was on the line?

He's not the best player in the AFL. End of story.

Our seasons been over for weeks. He's not the best but he's top 5.

Don't dispute those points. We couldn't have made it, the losses to GC and Carlton saw to that.

We executed very poorly with some flashbacks to the bumbling Tigers of the dismal past. That we stayed within four goals on Freo's home patch is an indictment on their finals chances.

Richmond was missing at least four, first 18 players (Foley, Vickery, Grimes, Conca), plus Griffiths was KO'd midway through the second. For Freo I count only Broughton and Morabito (maybe). Correct me if I'm wrong.

The effort to hang in at the end of a long season when outmatched physically by a mature opponent wasn't bad.
