Badly Behaved Aussie vs Eternally Prickly Serb, in the tennis championship of the world of sorts.

"Novax" the lesser of two evils this morning, IMO. He wins, it's just an increment in every dimension. Nick wins, it's a reward for reverting back his previous levels of assholery, which would be no good for anyone or anything bar his bank balance.

It's hard to watch Nick play. Too bi-polar for me.

Some great stuff, mixed with some cringeworthy moments, especially how he reacts to his family in the box.

Tries to play the, "I dont really care, just having fun card", but obviously he's emotionally invested.

From the little I've watchhed it always feels like he's only tapping into 60-80% of his potential. You can't help but wonder what level he could take his tennis if he'd accept a coach or mentor.

Maybe Darren can do us a favour and convince Nick that Kenny is the man he's missing in his life

I'm starting to love CD's again, there's some similar issues to vinyl though in terms of which copies of whatever is mastered best etc.

CD's from the 90's in the LOUDNESS era can be pretty awful.. good thing is they are cheap as chips & sound a lot better than lossy streaming.

Yeah you never know with remastered stuff.
The Doors reissues are fantastic and sound better than the original CDs I had. LA Woman in particular you hear little bits of chit chat in the studio and even the squeak of the bass drum pedal is audible.

The Doors remasters are pretty much alternate remixes, hence why you have Morrisons awful honking harmonica audible on Roadhouse Blues when it was completely buried originally.. they are sonically good & a refreshing listen though.

I've been sick. The little toe rags gave me a parting gift of a virus that has had me feeling like shite since of course Friday night not a minute before.

I'd advise not leaving home for 2 weeks. It's the only way not to have to hear or see them.

I think I've got 14 or 15? The most I've spent has "only" been about $80 on one record. I don't get that many opportunities to go record shopping and can't trust post here, so I have to load up when I get the chance haha

Only one so far.. **** it's good though.

I really want Witchcult Today but that's been out of print for a while. Hopefully due a repress.. had to grab wizard bloody wizard just because I could, even though it's not my favourite. Sounded good live though

I'm lucky. I got about 2/3 of my collection in the late 80s early 90s when everyone was practically giving them away when upgrading to CDs.
