Once you've tried Black Adam you'll never go back, madam.
They obviously set dressed that film wellWhat a *ing cynic you are!
A quick check of the post cards from the time make it clear.
Marineland at West Beach was on the 'must see' list of every international visitor to Australia in the 1970s.
The story of what happened to Flapper, the defiant dolphin who refused to jump through the flaming hoop, is best forgotten.
Yeah. Did a google search of the place and the dolphin aquarium (or pool) was just 2m deep. What a disgrace. They obviously set dressed that film well
Dolphins saying if you are gonna torture us with fire hows about cleaning the pool & replacing a few tiles once in a while.
No, I was referring to the original comment from the infamous mid week game between two also rans.Really - What in particular was stupid about it? Will a massive TV audience. Bigger than any AFL game.

Good on the Adelaide public for dropping off it & having it cast to the past.. meanwhile Queensland.I have the vaguest memories of being in the car driving past the place. I never got taken there as a little kid, I think even back then my parents must have known it was a pretty dodgy/cruel place.
Because we all know the crows v Collingwood round 7 clash of 2014 was the biggest sporting event in SA.
It looks like an abandoned indoor pool ruin you'd see those youtube explorer types cover lolI'm old enough to have experienced Marine Land first hand. That photo is pretty much how I remember it. It was truly awful.

American dolphin trainer Ric O'Barry visited South Australia to consult on the subject,[15] and stated that the facilities for captive dolphins that he had seen in Australia were "the worst in the world". He said that at least the Chinese had the excuse that they lacked the wealth to improve the animals' living conditions.
Just read this on the wiki page:
Heaps Good, SA Great!
I remember the hoo-hah about the plan to euthanise the dolphins. Can't remember what they ended up doing with them though.
One of them ended up back in the ocean, and it made its way to the Port river, where it taught other dolphins to do the tail walking thing that dolphins in the wild don't doJust read this on the wiki page:

How bored is the crowd. Dolphin's working its tail fin off to do a backwards moon walk and the kids are like, "meh".
Is that legit?
Kathy went to Marineland for her honeymoon!Found some article online about the joint and most of the comments were from boomers that went there in the 70s and said it was great and they should bring it back.
