I've done my back in on probably one of the 3/4 weekends a year that my wife is out with a girls weekend

Genuinely feel like an old person that needs a full time carer

There's a guy from work who has a new job in Adelaide lined up for the last two months, except he's still here because he literally can't find anywhere to stay in Adelaide. No success applying for rental or anything. If he don't move soon he loses the job. If he wants the job he's gonna have to sleep in his car.

On the flip side I've run in to half a dozen guys from school who have moved back to town. Wondering if that's a coincidence given real estate in the cities.

My mate (a trucky) sleeps in his truck sleeper.

He is one of the lucky ones..

He tried for awhile to get a rental then went **** it... Why do I need a house I'm only gonna sleep in 2 nights a week.

Yep it’s disgusting - that the biggest outrage this week is a few millionaires paying some insignificant tax that will not impact their lifestyle at all. But the poor might as well just be fired into the sun for all anyone cares.

Illegally target those on welfare is not even punishable - even when it is actually ILLEGAL

But try and take an extra dime from the wealthy and there is hell to pay.

The disconnect from what the media reports to what is actually happening is pretty huge. Murdoch and co are losing their grip. Hardly anyone under 50 pays attention to their trash anymore.
