A 'new' NRL team, the Dolphins are about to make their debut against the Roosters - apparently they've been a wildly successful team in the Qld state comp for hundreds of years and have now risen to the big league. At least they get to play their first big league game at home...
Not quite. Their home is at Kayo Stadium where some of their games will be played, they had to play at Suncorp.

The local mainstream radio station that has like, the Kyle and Jackie O show and stuff like that, played Dio at half past 8 this morning!

WTF

If I didn't record it I wouldn't believe it

What's next, Peace Sells?

Enjoying "The Bear"

One of the best series I've seen in a long time. Great story and characters.

Hope the second season continues with the same quality.

Remember when that boat got stuck? What a hoot that was. Feels like a while since there's been some hilarious worldwide event. Instead it's just been sickness and war and inflation.

Can someone in a position of some responsibility, do something really silly soon?

Funny story re downloads...

Back in the day, we had a team of around seven people at the studio and one of the things we'd do is share files on our server. Music, movies, tv shows, software etc. We had a folder set up for everyone to access and you just dumped stuff in and let everyone know via chat what was there. Worked reasonably well without a hiccup.

One day I was staying back at work, playing around with some new bittorrent software and a website that El Scorcho would have loved. To test it out I grabbed the first movie I saw wth a reasonable ratio and set it to download. The movie was The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, or at least, that was the label on the file.

Once it finished, and the test was a success, I dropped the file on the shared server and a quick message to the team to 'check out the latest movie'. I was about to pack up and leave when I thought I'd better check the quality of the download to see of it worked properly, so I sat back down and unzipped the file and opened it in VLC.

The quality was great, very high definition for the tech at the time and the sound was crisp and clear. the only problem was that it wasn't The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, it was some weird arse, German lingerie porno, with hard core sex scenes that looked like they were shot on the set of Bold & The Beautiful.

Thankfully, none of the staff had accessed the file remotely in the hour or so it was sitting on the server, but I did have to explain the missing movie the next day. Was very funny in hindsight and I still get reminded every now and then about the time I dropped pr0n onto the shared server.

A friend of mine downloaded Led Zeppelin's Kashmir in high school on limewire, except it was gay black pr0n.

As Robert Plant had intended it to be before studio interference.

Jogged my memory about a time I had a LAN party when I was a kid, and we found loads of hentai on one of the dudes PC's hidden in some folder called "Real" - that went down well.
