So it turns out when some Collingwood flog on the main board comes up with a PB mock-up guernsey where the stripes are replaced with black dicks, "we can't spare any black dicks, they're all too busy plowing your mother" is not considered by the moderators of this fair website to be an appropriate response.

If the moderators allow a dick guernsey then drawing the line at a mum joke is about the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of.

Maybe if you had drawn a pic of said mum receiving black dicks it would have been ok

In fairness they did also suspend the other guy. Which beats most of the main board/drafts & trading board moderation where they delete the reactions to blatant troll posts but don't remove the troll posts themselves.

I don't think you said that.

You said... Those without a cleaner or gardener are doing it tough. And you meant it.

When it comes to people doing it tough, I think that doesn't really rank.

The literal definition of semantics is ignoring the point of someone’s argument and focusing on and twisting 1 line

Do I literally think everyone without a cleaner or gardener is doing it tough? No.

Do I still have a point about the increased demands on modern couples and the stupidity of looking down on people who would rather hire help? Yes.

Can we just end this? do whatever you like if you have the money & you are a lazy prick.
I think everyone should be taxed more so that the govt can pay for everyone's gardening and cleaning

I mean, why say the line? It seems to stick out from the rest of your post of saying there's nothing wrong with hiring aid services, which there isn't, which you articulated well, but then saying that those without aid services are doing it tough, kind of elevates to ridiculous place.

This should be the thread banner for the next part of this thread. Maybe labels on all the people with poster names

Tyre shopping is the worst.

At some point, if you’re ringing 20 different shops and getting 20 different answers, how can you not believe either tyres are a scam and none of them are any different, or they are different and shops have zero idea why or how, they’re only pushing what stock they’re told to get out the door….

The lack of any hard comparable data on products you know companies must do extensive testing on is bizarre.

Unless one is going cross country or entering Le'Mans, a tyre is a tyre.

If all else fails, buy whoever sponsors your footy club. I believe for Port that is tyrepower.

EDIT
Don't buy from tyre(port)power, I just had a gander and you can't search for any Holden's before 1990 in their database. What is it, they think everyone is rich and the personal assistant tyre specialists only need to search for things less than thirty years old when they liaise with the rim secretary on behalf of the vehicle service broker so they can finalise the issue with the logistics of private travel team?

Tyres are about the most important thing on a car. Going cheapos never works, unless youre just selling it. Aside from having less grip, you'll just end up wearing them out twice as fast anyway.
