It'll only make classic cars more desirable
Probably not.

Once kids can not have to drive and just spend more time on their phones, no one will be interested in having to do something, when you can just do whatever you want for longer. Like saying streaming a film will make DVDs with special features more desirable.

I dunno, there will always be some BDE attached to the way old cars look, sound and feel.

It has with motorbikes.
So much so that new ones are designed to look like old ones engine and all.

How foreseeable was this.

The pollies who greenlit that payout should be lined up against a wall and shot.

Despicable organisation that is happy to hide behind “market forces set our prices not us” but want taxpayers to give them billions of dollars any time the market is s**t.

It's obviously a lot more complicated than you're making it out to be. For starters it wasn't just normal market forces that led to the handout, it was the government(s) essentially outlawing their business indefinitely.

As for the price gouging, the only way these prices come down is if people stop paying for them. I would never pay these absurd prices you see people paying - not because I couldn't afford to, just out of principle. And yes some people have no choice but most do.

I should have stuck by my principles and not flown back to Adelaide to see my mother before the surgery doctors said there was a very real chance she might not wake up from.

Dude, I literally said 'some people have no choice but most do'.

For so many things, this is true.

Flying isn’t and shouldn’t be considered a luxury. People simply have to travel for all sorts of reasons and to tell people just not to pay airline prices is naive and shows a lack of awareness.

Also, while you’re enjoying your principles qantas just reported a $3.7b dollar profit.

Your principles don’t mean shit to them. They’ll take your tax dollars, and their massive profits.
