Still gonna end up a bit small for afl he wont grow much more and being a defensive type he needs to be a lot taller or super quick which he is not . Dont get me wrong good player but afl is another level in terms of hieght etc.

might be some surprises before the carnival news has it two of the best for both vc and vm are in big trouble .
Ziebell who hurt his hand in the practice match needs to have an operation on his hand. Couldnt play with it properly sat was seen at football on sat with doctors straight after the game and went to doctors that night word is tendon damage. they said he couldnt even shake hands after the game he did it with other hand .Operation and four weeks in plaster.
The other is Scullys gone A hailebury source said scully who has had O/p didnt finish the game out had ice on his injury if it is he's gone for months.Be interesting as to what happens . Anyone got any news on them ?

what you mean he's not going to grow any more...the kid is obviously either only 16 or younger.
This is very big news they both play school footy and will be playing against each other in a game that will decide the premiership. Both sides will need them . especially hailebury without lynch and vickery.
some kids do stop growing earlier they tend to mature quicker. Hooper is an example hasnt grown in 3yrs.Dont know if this is the case with him .

yer i see wat you mean. but is also a good on baller and tagger.. roles in which he would be taller enough for at afl level. as you said he did mature very early and may not grow much taller

Luke is included in the squad of 38
he didnt play at the last trials because of stress fractures in his back. He's 205 cm and weighs 60 kilos . He wasnt a great player for bushrangers but having said that i can see him being a project player but being so tall and so light. If he has got stress fractures i am sure the powers to be would not entertain playing him in this carnival this year . If he hasnt got stress fractures he might be chance just because of his potential with his height . he does move very well for a guy his size and below his knees as well but has a long long way to go .I thought there were better ruckmen with more potential at the carnival than him .But i am not a selector either. hes 205 and still growing so they might take him young and do a bit with him ...hope so .

Luke is 202.5 cm and weighs 78 kg, he kicked a goal in each of the games at Bendigo and was one of 3 ruckman for the undefeated Murray. His second game against Gippsland, yes was better than the first game where he won most of his contests (as did all the Murray guys).
He does move around well for a tall and takes good options.
One could argue all day about what selectors do see and don't see and what mix they are looking for.
Hope the stressies heal quickly and Luke is up to speed soon.
