Everyone knew the Conservatives were ****ed, but this projection is absolutely dire.

That's almost Western Australia 2021 style.

Wow all those rural areas too?

All of Lincolnshire going red would be a sight to behold...

Strange how it works that they still get 5(?) in Scotland when each of 1997-2015, they didn't win more than one.

EDIT: Just checked and 5 of the 7 seats in Lincs. have majorities of 25,000+

Either there's some insane vote splitting with Reform, or it's more likely that normal polls begin to breakdown under these circumstances. Forecasts seem to range by as much as ~100 seats which is some extreme uncertainty.

They're getting whacked in any case.

It's certainly interesting watching the electorate and polls tell the conservatives that they're doing it all wrong, but the conservatives doubling down on whatever it is they're doing.

Such a big win, plus a socialist King, I think Labour might actually be emboldened to do something. Crack down on immigration and nationalise everything and also try to turn around Brexit as much as they can.

The fighting will be between the Labour socialists and the centrists. They won't bother arguing with the conservatives or Reform. And I'm not even sure how the centrist Labour differs from the Lib-Dems, except the Lib Dems are in more posh areas.
Labour's been purged of socialists though. They'll gain a large majority which will be whittled down by fascists over a couple of elections(whether that be a takeover of the Tories or Reform)

Charles actually has some pretty interesting ecological positions within de populate and climate change thangs, this doesn't really matter though

Farage doesn't live in the same world as the rest of us.

Farage is seeing the Conservatives on their knees. Instead of takeover from within like he tried in the past, he's cannibalising them from the outside.

Lots of conservatives want to not vote for the current party, but wont vote for Labour. So Farage is presenting them with an alternative and they're going to take it. But the rich vested interests know that Reform's policies are an economic disaster, so they'll never get on board.

Not as red as the eighties, but more proud and unapologetic to wear red. Reverse watermelon

Oh my God.

Of course, this is only one poll, but they're all showing a dire result for the Conservatives. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving bunch.

Stats for Lefties is notorious for posting polls that are rather optimistic on the outcomes for the political left and centre-left (not that Labour is either of those under Starmer). I'm skeptical that things will be quite as bad as this for the Conservatives.

Are the lib dems kinda like their version of the teals?

Jovan Owusu-Nepaul, Labour's candidate for Clacton, the Conservative-held seat that Nigel Farage is gunning for, has had significant cut through on social media, with viral posts and pictures building his profile.

Too much, according to Starmer and the party office, who have banned the local campaign from printing leaflets, blocked them from using campaigning software and had access to the campaign’s social media overridden, with posts deleted on Twitter. The candidate has been seconded from the Essex seat to the West Midlands.

“Labour headquarters had been angry with the traction Owusu-Nepaul was getting. At one point [Jovan] was getting more retweets than Keir Starmer. The officials were furious with him and said he was distracting [from] Starmer’s campaign.”
Pathetic.

Very disappointing that the conservatives have imploded and Starmer is what Labour have to offer

Far out they have been running down the military for decades and struggle to get people to sign up because of poor pay. Now it's we will increase spending to more than 2 per cent of GDP they will be playing catch up just to get back where they were 10 years ago.
What's next ? they are going to suddenly increase NHS spending after running it down for more than a decade.
