ive been following 19 premier footy for a while and every year xavs are the biggest mouths on this forum yet you havn't won it since 2001. shut up until you win it cause no one cares

Everyones thoughts from the weekend?

Uni Blacks first win of the year. What is going on down at Old Melbournians? Do they have any good players?

De La - No suprises there. Humphrey again amongst the best, surely he would be close to a Premier debut?

Much hyped Xavs - Scotch game came down to 2 goals. the game could have been put away in the first half but 3 goals 10 to Xavier was the downfall. Nidam and Bisset again featuring in the best and Goss with another 6 and bog. Max Davis best on for scotch although Sansom was very good on the wing.

Uni Blues seem to be the team that is being heavily hit with injuries at the moment and is showing up the lack of depth, with a full team in though they will surely ruffle a few come end of the season.

were you even at the game? Xavs started off by missing a few, as did scotch. But from then on scotch were the better team. The only reason why the game ended within two goals was because scotch let the xavs kick 3 or 4 goals in the last 5minutes when the game was done and dusted.

And also do you just get your best players from the VAFA website and assume that the the number 1 from each team was actually the best? heesham was rough not to get in the best as he played well all day. Whilst bisset saw hardly any of the ball, however kicking two good goals... Goss was alright but no where near BOG.

Beauy seem to be the up and coming team of the comp. Interesting to see how scotch v. Beauy goes this week.

I'm not disagreeing with you! I'm sure what you stated is correct and Scotch deserved to win. I'm just pointing out the obvious, that you are a Scotch player.

also i have nothing against the xavs they played well but did you actually think that they lost the game or that scotch won it?

Fair enough, I'll take your word for it that Scotch deserved it...I hate xavs anyway they are arrogant pansies who play soft attractive football and hate being tackled.

oh they aren't that bad but they do seem to talk themselves up a fair bit. i wasn't having a go at you either. Just saying that VAFA best players are not in order or completely right. Cos coaches like to chuck the 'most deserved' etc.
anyway..
who are the main players for beauy and can or will anyone challenge De la?

If you read above I am not the one that spoke about the best players...

And Beauy's main threat I believe is their depth and consistency in all positions, their forward line is a standout though.

Look mate i watched the game as well and are you telling me that if Xavier had of not taken their chances they would have won the game? 3 goals 10 at half time is hardly ideal and with over 6 more scoring shots I personally thought, bias aside, that Xavier played better and should have won. I'm no big fan of Scotch either, but what i'm saying is my opinion.

You obviously have little clue, calling him Heesham, because thats not his name, his last name is Nidam. Bisset hardly saw any of the ball? Are you serious? Played very well on his wing, again in my opinion. Goss was alright? Kicking 6 goals and having over 10 shots at goal surely mounts a case for a better reaction of 'alright'.

Pull your head in mate, i understand you are a Scotch boy that is not a fan of Xavier but no need to be ridiculously bias.

Good call, well put call, educated call. Scotch were surprisingly good, number 5 was dominate, and number 14 or 15 had a huge jiggle. Yeah its Hich* (hebrew) and he played another great game, bisset likewise. I think the X-men will be eagerly awaiting a rematch, accurate goal kicking and paddy ambrose should get them over the line, (rob follachio to come back will be detrimental) Good from Scotch, the mutants will be back!

the next couple of weeks will shape the competition with scotch, beauy, xavs and blues to fight out the last three spots for finals seeing as de la have top in the bag there depth is outstanding and im unsure if they have a bad player in there premier side......

yeah i did hear that xavier were missing a good CHF or CHB, so will make it interesting next time round.
what happened to OM's?? and also what happened to uni blues last week?

I heard Scotch was at full strength too...
DShlapp he meant Xavs were missing a good CHB and CHf full stop not on Saturday. Scotchies won and yet again the Xavs boys go looking for excuses. When are you going to cop one on the chin.

Wackaty, all I said was that I heard Scotch were at full strength.

No excuses, just what I heard. If it's not true then please elaborate... Otherwise this doesn't concern you you peanut!

Hardly, warrants the peanut call. You obviously can't cope with the fact that you have been challenged once again. Please name the CHB and CHF who didn't play for Xavs on the weekend.

Once again you are commenting on what you have heard, obvoiusly you were busy playing for Old Xav's thirds.

well it concerns everyone when your talking about it on an open forum, so Wack is entitled to his opinion.

Another weekend gone, one more round until the break and the second half of the year, De la Still yet to loose and now 2 and a half games clear, i think the next 3 spots will be hotly contested and i can wait to see the ladder in a Months time.

Goss Another bag, kid can kick a goal! also heard he should of kicked 10! Humphrey in the best again! and 2nd consecutive BOG... i really hope the big fella gets a run with the big boys this year and i really hope both Goss and Humphrey get a run in the Big V and represent the U/19's. Allen from Uni Blues also bobbed up with another bag and Lachie Bennet from Melbs consistant as ever. Lets see a few users offering some praise on this forum to much negativity and bitching going on. I Wanna see people giving there top 5-10 players in the comp.

Can confirm, Parker stings when you least expect it; irritating opponents. He is persistent and deadly, even if he does cop a spray!
