OT...what a pack of wanks, you were beaten all over the ground by a better team. The talk at the game was that OT didn't play their strongest team... so what! neither team played their full lists'.. get over it, maybe even learn from it, and a word of advice to the coaching staff, grab a rule book, study up and stop whingeing about the umpiring.

OI and OT would surely be praying the reds dont make finals.

after being tested by a lower ended OEG, the Reds have come out and are flying.

can any red boys consolidate there good run?

It took our best footy to get over OI where we just scraped over the line. very very good team, beat them with pressure and intensity.
With Old Trinity we could have put in a stronger effort, our guns didn't really fire with the exception of one and two and the first quarter they seemed to have a gale force wind which seeminly vanished after that quarter. couldve been a decent sized win.

All this talk about fitzroy reds being a flag contender after knocking off OI and OT is bullshit!
OI and OT are very very good sides, and yes teams have an off day and i think Fitzroy caught both sides on their bad days!not taking anything away from Fitzroy who i think are good and have some realy good, quick hard at it players!who is number 9?and 4?BUT, if thats their best footy and only beat OT by 13 points who i heard had at least 6 gun players out threw senior selection and injury...Fitzroy would have to lift a notch or two come finals time to knock em off again and also OI you would think???
under 19's playing seniors do make a difference(especially A GRADE) and OI and OT have alot of them playing seniors and when they drop back for finals it will be a different ball game!

assuming, of course, that they've played enough u19's throughout the year to qualify for finals

getting on with things heres my tips for this week,

carey v Bt- should be a close game but i think that with any chance of staying in the finals race they will be fired up. Bt by 30

ess v camberwell- camberwell should account for essendon pretty comfortably. 38 points

trinity v ivanhoe- with both teams Senior side having the bye should be a close match which will definately set the scene a little better going into finals with both teams having close to full strength sides. T's by 18

banyule v parade- didnt realise parade joined with st damiens, a young side parade but i dont think it will be enough to get over banyule. Banyule by 60

red v manningham- reds showing good form cant go past em. 65 points

in light of the fact the Ammos didn't put the results of the games on the web or in the papers, how about anyone that knows the round 14 results posts them here

Fitzroy Reds 20-22-142
Manningham 3-5-23

did trinity beat ivanhoe? by how much?

Yep, Trinity got up by 17 pts (i think or maybe 18)
Final score: 10.15.75 to 9.4.58

Pretty close all day, Ivanhoe didnt have a great second half and couldnt capitalise on the wind in the third. Just wondering if any ivanhoe person could tell me why spargs and del monte were on the bench with 10mins to go? i would have thought they were still a red hot chance at that point only about 15 pts down? anyway, top game between these two sides who showed a lot of respect for eachother but trinity were just a little bit better on the day!

Regulation there Ninja - you'd have to think all things being equal it will come down to the Reds -v- BT clash at BSO on 2/8 to determine the final place in the 4.

With the seniors facing a critical game against OMs at Keysborough, you'd have to think those two little gems of yours running around with the 1sts will have to stay up for that one.

Keep posting those wins, its been a great effort thus far, particularly for a 1st season in the 2nd top flight. :thumbsu:

Because for the whole season we havent had any seniors players play for us until this game and we, as a side decided that they were not going to be the matchmaking players. they were there purely for numbers sake as we have a couple talls out through injury. this was not a question on their ability as alot of people know on this forum, only that we want to win this season the way we started it, with the original players. do not take this as an excuse for the loss, trinity are a very good team and they were better on the day. congrats and hope to see you again ;)

As a neutral observer for the first half of the OI v OT game, gee that was a good standard of underage football. Really impressed.

Interesting to see Alan Richardson from Collingwood sitting in the car next to me. Not sure if this is a regular thing, perhaps he has been down to watch certain players before?

WTF???
were you forward-scouting???

The big question is:-

Relegation or Flag?

Will OT keep their quality players in the Under 19's to possibly win a flag at the possible demise of the Seniors from A Grade?
