looks like saturday is gonna b fun against manu with no van persie and possibly no adebayor, sagna or walcott my god were gonna have play eboue at right back and well have no scoring prowess:eek::eek::eek::eek:
btw one of the worst performances i have ever witnessed from arsenal

Alot of Arse fans calling for Wenger's head.

I think sacking him will do more harm than good at this stage, but the board should take some initiative and threaten him with the sack if he doesn't start investing in some proper, experienced, world class players.

Enough of this development crap, we're back where we started when Vieira left.

Speechless.

Arsene can go **** himself. **** off you useless ****, this team has been steadily getting more rubbish by the year. ****ing do something to prevent it you piece of shit.

We will get murdered by United next week. Absolutely ****ed up so bad.

Song and Denilson are soft hacks and wouldn't start for any other top 3 teams. Flog them off.

Thats the the worrying thing. I have supported the club for 9 years but I have never been more concerned about the future direction of the club. I hear people saying imagine how good we will be in a couple of years if we keep all the youngsters together, but that is starting to annoy me. Flair and youthfulness win plaudits, grit and experience win trophies.

Not re-signing Flamini at the start of last season will go down as one of the biggest mistakes in the clubs history. We have sorely missed him and Fabregas had payed for it. Fab hasn't come on from last season and the lack of support in the midfield is the main reason. Flam and Fab had an awesome partnership and sometimes you don't realise how good something is until it's gone.

As far as Wenger goes, he has done wonders for the club but unless we pick up the Champions League or FA Cup this season, he'll be under massive pressure at the end of the year and insted of people saying 'Wenger knows' it will be 'Wenger knows nothing'.

In regards to our next match against Fenerbache I'd throw the same team in that played in the Carling Cup plus Van Persie (since he can't play against Man U). Injuries will probably force us too anyway, but put players in who want to impress and push for regular selection. The team at the moment has no intensity or determination to fight for points.
With the start of the season draw we were gifted we should have been top by at least 3 points but we blew it. We still have to play United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Villa before Christmas so it will be tough to keep in touch with the leaders before the new year.
If it's all over by Christmas you get the feeling this season will be like our last at Highbury, fighting for 4th but this time against Villa and not Spuds.

i can't wait for the next 8 games, man united, aston villa, man city, chelsea, wigan (the only slightly easy game), middlesbrough away (always causes us problems), liverpool and then aston villa again.

i hope wenger learnt a good lesson, NEVER (repeat) NEVER put denilson on the wing with that midfield.

Horrible, we looked so uncoordinated last night what happened to our beautiful football, seriously what the hell was that. No way I would ever give up on my team or on Mr Wenger but jesus christ open your eyes you can't expect to do very well with all these kids...was pretty upset last night because I have been waiting so long for Clichy to score and when he does we lose still. What to do now until the transfer window opens? What signings do you guys think we need? Gattuso or Frings or Veloso? Our defence looks good on paper but they play pretty shaky and get lost quite a bit like bad concentration? Need another good and experienced centre back, someone to command the midfield like a Viera type, and a striker that will be consistent (Eduardo could be the answer but gotta see how he is when he gets back)

Huntelaar Adebayor/RVP

Nasri Frings/Gattuso Fabregas Walcott

Clichy Toure Richards Sagna

Frey (maybe akinfeev?)

It will never happen but I think that team is pretty decent?

I'm also in the Wenger sacked camp. I'm just sick of this, sick of where he's taking us with his refusal to spend and invest in the squad to take it forward. But most of all, I'm sick of the way he just never takes any responsibility. He always has an excuse and someone/something to palm the blame off onto - take a look at this comments after last night, it's pathetic.

The only players I wouldn't sell and replace with someone are Fabregas (who'll leave anyway), Sagna, Nasri, Clichy, Walcott. The rest? Well, shit. We can do better and it'll just take a bit of spending (oh noez). It doesn't matter that he's 27 and never played in Europe, what I wouldn't give to have Yasuhito Endo in our midfield ...

Villa Adebayor/RVP

Nasri Gattuso Fabregas Walcott

Clichy Toure Richards Sagna

Almunia

A couple of changes to your team, and it's still a title winning side.

Villa - 20m
Gattuso - 5m
Richards - 15m

40m for the title? No worries.

If you get Villa for 20million (the same price as Robbie Keane I might add) then you could buy Cristiano Ronaldo with spare change under the bed...

Villa wont go for anywhere near 20mill...

If your really looking for a quick fix, I mean now, then you need Appiah. Not sure how well the ageing Gattuso would go in the EPL, not guaranteed to fail but would be interesting. This is the most important area IMO, much more important then what you have up front, because if Fabregas cant get into his more preferred role of the attacking midfielder and constantly needs to track back, then he will be looking to Barcelona.

Even still, 3 players wont change the team from a distant 4th to champions in an instant... It will take time, and it is more then just the onfield issues with the players...

when you think about the match, i think that van persie was a bit unlucky to get red. i know you can't tackle the goalie, but he was a micro-second away from getting the ball. shawcross injured adebayor, didn't get the ball and tackled from behind and he got off without a yellow. the same could be argued about delap's tackle on walcott(although delap did recieve a yellow). bit unfair on van persie.

edit: nearly forgot, congrats to clichy on scoring his 1st arsenal goal (and a good one as well).

Yellow for the tackle, yellow for being an idiot, gotta get through his head that frustration like that is gonna cost you games we need players with cool heads under pressure not idiots that resort to that. I honestly thought it deserved a yellow but kinda glad he got a red, really really dumb. I was gonna say Villa but I don't see us splashing the cash and yeah probably right Almunia is probably more solid than Frey and Akinfeev, plus he is proven and most of the chances that get scored are dumb defensive mistakes or lack of concentration.

A defensive midfielder and a reality check is all we need. Maybe a GK and a CD, but I can cope with Almunia and Gallas/Toure for now. A DM is what we have been missing. Put Flamini back in the side and we would be top of the ladder. Not only did he protect the back 4 but he released Fabregas which is crucial to Arsenal's success.

enough said.

i don't think that diaby is the right person to partner cesc, he is to attacking and has shown in the past that he makes wayyyyyyyyyyyy to many bad tackles for a dm. bring back flamini

Unlucky my arse. Van Persie had plenty of time to stop. Instead he decided to barge over the keeper. Honestly, with that kind of mentality, he can **** off back to Holland playing for Ajax, or whoever we brought him from.

I think Song looked pretty good as a DM against us and I've seen a couple Arsenal games now and I like him there.

IMHO Cesc - Song is your best CM partnership.
