Wenger better sign in january or he could be gone at the season's end! With our run of fixtures to the new year i think we will be sitting about 6th-8th and 6 points off 4th!

Could your lot please get your shit together and beat United. Or at least get a draw. Please.

When has Liverpool ever beaten United when it counted? Mate, I remember back in the late 90's wearing a Liverpool top, praying that you would beat Manure to get us back in the race.

BTW you never did!

I knew we were in for a terrible week when we had all these muppet Arsenal supporters posting youtube videos of highlights against the Yids. Please this is not the pace for that sort of thing. Constructive discussion - yes. Unbridled enthusiasm - no.

Again as Arsenal supporters we have overreacted. I was fuming for three days after the game midweek. You simply shouldn't let a 2 goal lead slip. Unforgivable and if I were manager I would have ripped them a new @rsehole.

As for the game v Stoke. This is just the sort of match we have been losing over the last three/four years. Teams that go at it hard always frustrate us. See Bolton/Blackburn etc. No Plan B.

I guess a lot of us thought that given our easy fixture at the start of the year we would be 6-9 points clear by now. Unfortunately it doesn't always work that way.

I see another 2006-2007 coming up where we make Europe but are not really sure in which competition till the last day.

I am sure I posted this after our last loss but we need a DM badly. Song is not the right bloke and neither is Diaby. If you think they are you have not watched enough football in you life. I guess we are hamstrung until at least January.

Like a lot of Arsenal people I think it may be time for Wenger to move on especially if we don't win anything. Lets hope we go on a good FA Cup run as this may be the only thing that saves his bacon.

RVP`s red card was incorrect, it was definetly a yellow not a red. Either way it was ****ing stupid.

No. You can't touch the goalkeeper like that and he definitely stopped before making contact. It wasn't forward momentum. Correct decision and a terrible move by RVP. What was he thinking?!

I still believe Wenger is the right manager for Arsenal. What I want to see though, is money spent, and no deflecting/excuses when we lose to trash like Rory Delap Long Throw FC.

Not a lot I dont think. Very frustrated. Good decision, and the keeper make it look like he had been shot which didnt help.

Well if you don't want petty excuses, Wenger is the wrong man. That's all he knows Voyeur.

Will have to suck up his pride and sign some class, and i think the board has been pushing for this for a while. Need a class striker (huntelaar/villa), a solid DM (toure), a CB replacing Gallas (Richards) and a GK (frey/akinfeev). Not sure where rosicky fits in. Walcott has been great lately on the right, nasri has the left sewn up, and rosicky definitely isn't a DM. Sell RVP (20m), Rosicky (15m) Almunia (5m) and Senderos (10m) for Villa (30m), Toure (15m), Akinfeev (15m) and Richards (15m). 25 million for a genuine title shot is a pretty good deal imo. Will never happen, but let me dream.
---------Villa----Adebayor-----------
Nasri---Toure----Fabregas---Walcott
Clichy---Toure----Richards----Sagna
-------------Akinfeev---------------

Subs: Ramsey, Eduardo, Djourou, Fabianski, Denilson

If we got a star striker, and vela continues to develop at his current rate, Is eduardo needed?

What's the big deal with Richards?

Have you watched Man City lately?

He has been playing shocking, Arsenal should be able to do better than him. Not to mention the fact that he wouldn't want to leave.

Who will buy Rosicky for 15m? You'd be lucky to get 2! The guy is a walking injury bomb just like RVP.

Just get a DM. I dont want to see another striker/defender/GK bought before a DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER!!
We still have enough class everywhere else to challenge. But we still need alot of luck and a change of attitude to win.
Villa won't leave Valencia, so there is no point in continuously bringing up his name.

A defensive midfielder and a reality check is all we need. Maybe a GK and a CD, but I can cope with Almunia and Gallas/Toure for now. A DM is what we have been missing. Put Flamini back in the side and we would be top of the ladder. Not only did he protect the back 4 but he released Fabregas which is crucial to Arsenal's success.

Absolutely rofltastic...

Your one change to the side could be Pele and it wouldnt put you top of the tree. There are a lot of problems at Arsenal at the moment and to think that one change would fix all that is ridiculous...

Usual Wenger email:

Wenger: We looked physically jaded at Stoke

Dear Supporter,
Saturday was a game where we had a lot of possession, but Stoke defended very well and were well organised. We were not sharp enough to create chances and conceded two goals on two throw-ins. They fought for every ball and they waited for their set-pieces.
Rory Delap was an influence even though we had a plan to deal with his throw-ins and we had worked on it. They fly into the box and it is difficult with 20 people in there. That sort of thing is not our greatest strength. We were punished and I believe we were unlucky as well.
People who love the traditional English game would have been happy because they got what they liked on Saturday. It was a traditional game with a lot of fight and commitment. And at the end of the day Stoke deserved to win the game.
I believe we tried very hard and I think Stoke are sharp at the moment while we look jaded physically. At the moment we play a lot games and we suffer a little a bit because of that. It isn't a confidence issue but we gave a lot on Wednesday against Spurs. We play again in midweek and that is why, in the repetition of games, if you don't score first you can suffer.
The result was not the only bad news from Saturday. Robin van Persie was sent off and I think that his red card was very, very harsh. He shouldn't have challenged the goalkeeper like that but I don't think it was a red card.
We have injuries too, very bad ones to Adebayor and Walcott. One or two have knocks as well, like Sagna. Saturday was the kind of game where if you are a little bit short on sharpness, you are less agile and get out of tackles less quickly.
Thanks for your support.

It would't fix all our problems but I bet we would have gained an extra few points somewhere. It's the same team as last year minus Flamini and Hleb so I don't think we have a lot of problems.
The problems are lack of a defensive midfielder and mentality.
Everything links around a DM in a team. The CB's wouldn't be under as much pressure and most importantly Fabregas's form would improve because he doesn't seem himself without adequate support. Look back at last season and Fab's form was a direct result on us having an awesome start to the league.
Each team needs their superstar firing to be a title contender. Ronaldo was out of form for a while a few weeks ago but now he is firing and Man U look back to their best when he is. We need Cesc firing but I doubt he can replicate last seasons form without a DM next to him.
I understand it's not a definite solution and we would probably still be about where we are so maybe I'm being ignorant, but I'm not buying into this 'we need to spend 80m on Villa, Huntelaar, Richards.
