I didn't want to start a new thread just to ask this question.

Does anybody know anything about a 2009 thriller movie called "The Collector", directed by Marcus Dunstan? According to imdb, it is supposed to be released in Australia on October 28, but none of the major Victorian newspapers seem to be stating that it is coming out soon.

yeah seen it, its like SAW on steroids, guy sets up saw like contraptions all over a house, gore wise its pretty full on, actings not that amazing, but you'll get a laugh at a few of the traps

Download it if you can't find it set for release. Pretty good movie overall, as Flight said it's very Saw like but has a few good and different twists.

Eh, Cars wasn't all that special and this really doesn't look like it will be either. Why are Pixar so infactuated with it? I really can't see a whole lot of scope for awesome stories in this universe...Monsters Inc. on the other hand...
