These are the key words. The two biggest mistakes of the Democrats campaigns were:
1. Biden trying to run again at all, leaving Harris too little time to assuage the 'I don't know enough about her' voters
2. Once she was the nominee not distancing herself more from Biden. This is on both of them. Biden should have been willing to take more hits since he wasn't running again, such as saying (true or not), that Harris argued to do more for Gaza (which would have helped in Michigan especially, but all the blue wall states they are going to lose) and was concerned about the inflationary effects of some of his policies. Harris shot herself in the foot massively when she said she had nothing she disagreed with Biden about for the last 4 years.

It's hilarious (in a black humour way) that Trump even got elected once, let alone more than half the country electing a narcissistic, compulsive lying, sexist, racist, homophobic, poor hating guy a second time, but the Democrats knew a large number of voters were willing to do that, and didn't spend enough time addressing their biggest weakness, which was Harris being tied to Biden.

You're right that theoretically we won't have to endure an other Donald Trump campaign for President ever again. Which is a strong silver lining.

And most of the damage Trump does will be to Americans (and Palestinians and Ukrainians). Since at least for the next year we won't have a Morrison-like moron who joins in tariff wars to our own detriment. If Trump rips up AUKUS, that would be good for us, too.

Both Candidates are absolutely crap, and its a sad indication of how far the USA has fallen.

But tonight is great for common-sense being the big winner.

1. Securing Borders - Big Tick (Probably one of the biggest responsibilities a National Leader has)

2. Economy - Big Tick (Energy, Small Businesses, Investor Confidence)

3. battling the woke things - like - Keeping Men out of Women's sports and spaces big Tick (how could this even be an issue honestly)

4. Not treating minority groups like victims and deliberately wanting to keep them down to own their vote - Big Tick ( Some Americans in minority groups are starting to wake up to this Democrat tactic)
