Harris needed more than just colour and gender to appeal to the public. She is about as cookie-cutter as they come.
Don't necessarily disagree with that. But I still want to know how Trump—with his history—appeals to that demographic.

America has been bordering on fascism for a long time with their flag-waving, allegiance-pleading, "Greatest country on earth" rhetoric. Looks like the chickens are coming home to roost.

Trump getting shot, surviving and then revelling in it and using it to his advantage was the end for Kamala

I initially thought the same but seemed people moved on quick & Harris got momentum.

I thought it was over when the busted old celebrity endorsements started coming in thick & fast at the start of last week. Reeked of 2016 and that shit barely works with Democrats anymore.

Bunch of dumb clucks they are.

Trump, modi, putin,xi jinping. Probably the 4 most powerful leaders in the world, all sharing a lot of similar traits. There is a pattern emerging in the type of leaders people are electing now.

While this is true, cookie-cutter should be enough to win elections against someone with that many court cases against him, plus a history of disrespecting women and military personnel (and economic policies that massively favour the already wealthy, but people everywhere have a limited grasp of economics despite claiming the economy is important to them, so let's let that slide). It says something about the American people that so many of them think a person like that is better than a cookie-cutter candidate, and that several of them have been convinced such a generic candidate is actually a dangerous Marxist.
