Yes, his appointees won't face confirmations. He learned that one quickly last time by just calling them acting whatevers. Cannon to the SCOTUS, other positions to the highest bidder. It will be interesting and maybe frightening how far he will go with it.

There's a good chance the fire response teams are less staffed than they would have been, but that would probably only be a problem from 2026 onwards. By May, nothing will have changed which will impact you. Maybe a tariff war and visa fights.
