I wouldn't be putting money on Harris right now. Those gender and age exit polls are dire.

shes out to 5 bucks now

Reckon Trump has it. The demographic swings and the overall swing since 2020 has convinced me:

Hope I'm wrong.

Only consolation I'm seeing is that she only needs a handful of blue arrows her way in the urban/suburban counties to outweigh it all

But it's not looking great

Guess we can now see what happens with Project 2025. Will be interesting viewing from here.

(if he wins of course)
Scary ****ing times and I’m not saying that lightly…considering that the liberals based their entire political strategy based on the Republicans I really worry about how this will follow as already seen in Qld

Not sure I'd call it 'interesting'. 'Alarming' would be more appropriate.

She would have murdered her campaign going on Rogan. She can't speak without a teleprompter.
Harris' best public event was the Trump debate. And Trump ensured there would be no other. Many other outings she didn't project herself very well, and was obviously not answering qs properly, and not willing enough to take risks with her positions. I thought though that her disapproval rating being better than Trump's would prevail, and the Dem's ground game would get her vote out.

Still too early to call.

The answer for Democrats is not moving to the centre. They need to invigorate the younger base by becoming more progressive - being better than Donald Trump is not enough in a country where voting isn't compulsory.
More progressive? That's just going to push voters they're looking to attract even further away.

They need to position themselves as a party for everyone.

At present, they just pander to those in big Democrat cities.

That'd work in a country where the majority votes wont he presidency but USA isn't like that.

They need to appeal to a wider audience, not make it even narrower.

I still can’t get my head around anyone looking at Trump these last few years and going “yep I want him to lead my country”

Mind blowing

The alternative is hardly great (and they waited too long to get rid of Joe) that's the problem mind you as if we can talk much. People are hurting personally in the US so throwing out the President/leader seems the go to. Is it right not sure, will it work who on the blue moon knows. This is an absolute Hail Mary gamble didn't work last time though.

It’s like half the country has selective amnesia and can’t remember what he did on j6.

They do. They don't care mate. They want to watch it all burn. The chaos is the point.

The US is Gotham and they want their Joker back.

They'd literally rather a guy who admitted (and never backed down) to groping women without consent over the alternative.

The establishment dems have learnt very little.
