I think Democrats will win the house and Republicans the senate

So a flip
I'd love to see a similar brawl over Senate Majority Leader as in the House, and with a Dem VP breaking the tie, you just need 1 of admittedly few moderate Republicans to cross the floor on that vote, if the majority of GOP Senators want someone from the MAGA camp.

There's some GOP Senators who aren't voting for Trump I believe, so they may reason that anything they personally don't like as a moderate, they likely have 51 votes to block it anyway.

Or at least team with Dems for a rational leader out of the moderates.

Unlikely but hopeful.

If it’s anything like Thai politics the real powers that be won’t like that result and throw it out.
Yep, gotta keep getting those luxury cars and Rolexes. Can't have some young whippersnapper actually spend the budget on improving the country...

High Gen Z turnout at the University polling booths in Philadelphia. I've seen videos of the long queues. Several reports saying much bigger than previous and extra machines have been requested to process votes.
Philadelphia matters because it's Pennsylvania, but any Generation Z Harris voters in the deep blue states effectively won't count. Nobody in a non-swing state really counts, unfortunately.

Has anybody got a different starting point than this? I can't see Harris winning NC or GA, so she needs to hold PA, MI and WI, the main contests in this election, it seems.

If the polls have undercounted the youth and women vote as some are suggesting, then I'd say both NC and GA are in play.

NC especially has a very unpopular Republican governor candidate, not something that happens regularly. Maybe voters split the ticket, maybe some moderate GOP voters who might have leaned toward Trump, stay home.

But I think the likeliest path for Harris is to pick up the 4 swing states you have there for 276-262.

Seems like a pretty evenly split group here…

Will either be meltdowns or jubilation later on today.
Difference is that those who hoped for a Harris win…. if she loses ….will be massively disappointed and concerned for the US Ukraine Gaza and global politics.
Whereas those who hoped for a Trump win…..if he loses…. will call foul, rigged, stolen, say they weren’t really rusted on Trumpers anyway, or disappear.

Yes, apparently there is one bellwether county there, that's about the only comfort a Harris supporter might take.

Edit. One with a university. Northampton.
