Plus when your party has spent years bashing, belittling and alienating the target audience for the Rogan Show, it wouldn't be wise to go on there and make it worse.

Democrats really need to evaluate their stance on many things and move back toward the centre in future.

There should be no universe that exists where they lose an election to Donald ****ing Trump.
Move toward the centre?

Would have thought thats exactly where they are now.

According to NBC just now:
  • Pennsylvania - too close to call
  • Michigan - too close to call
  • Wisconsin - too close to call
  • Georgia - too close to call
  • North Carolina - too early to call
  • Arizona - too early to call
  • Nevada - too early to call

Senate races
Republican (Moreno) holding strong in Ohio - would be a win for Republicans
Indi (King) well ahead in Maine - incumbent
Indi (Osborn) clear in Nebraska, not a guarantee - would be a loss for Republicans

Arizona - Dem (Gallego) well ahead - replacing incumbent Dem (Sinema)
Michigan - Dem (Slotkin) slightly ahead - replacing incumbent Dem (Stabenow)

Penn and Wisconsin -- both Dem incumbents - both races are neck and neck

Democrats?

Closer to far-left than they are to centre, at least, that's the public perception, which is the only thing that matters at election time.

She had to choose better than Walz though. Walz looked like Biden 2.0 at times. She should have chosen someone to rival Vance.
Nah, not rival Vance. If you can't beat-em, join em.

The Dems need to stop holding their own up to a higher standard than the voting public does.

Al Franklin would have been a great candidate, but resigned because he was pressured to over a joke photo which is no worse than what Trump has been convicted of.

The Dems need to stop acting and pretending like they're holier-than-thou, when we know 90% of congresspeople and Senators are as shonky as each other.

Harris will hold PA, but lose because of Wisconsin and maybe one other. She's got danger across the board, but PA looks like it will hold better than the others.

Prefer a 78 year old conman, fraud, felon, rapist. Racism and misogyny alive and well.
I've followed the campaigning fairly closely. Harris has played the polical game a bit like will ferrels character in "the election," every stop has been pandering to whoever she is infront of, and her message has changed with it

May not agree with trump on everything, but he's certainly kept the message on brand the entire campaign

Whats dumb is progressives not voting for her. They have literally just destroyed themselves.

Nation wide Abortion ban.

Trump picks two more 40 year old supreme court justices who rule for next 50 years.

Israel eradicate gaza.

May never be another fair election.

20 million immigrants deported.

All because progressives didnt vote.

Kind of like Muslim-Americans, progressives in the US don't really have much to hope for with Harris:

- Israel are eradicating Gaza under Joe's watch and would continue under Harris
- Dems promised to just as harsh on 'border policy'
- There can be no 'nation-wide abortion ban'
- Harris offered no substantive economic policy to ease the burden upon people
- Harris kept prattling about having a Republican in her ranks, about running a 'bipartisan government'

I'm not going to argue that there's no substantive difference between Harris and Trump, but any dip in progressive turnout (which isn't even clear yet) should be sheeted home to the Democratic Party. People are not obliged to buy into whatever s*** they're trying to sell.

Did she though? She read the same script over and over and over
She didn't focus on things people care about like immigration being out of control and then resorted to 'everyone's garbage unless you vote for me'

Trump is a ****ing moron so it speaks volumes about her campaign if she loses

And rather than accept criticism or even looking back at it people will label voters racist and sexist. "They weren't ready for a black woman", proving the point as to why Trump did so well...

People keep repeating this shit. It happened with Brexit, that felt like the first domino with this, the Voice here, potentially Kamala now. Europe getting further and further right

When will the left leaners actually reflect on what they're doing and accept the majority pretty clearly are rejecting them?

It's even more weird because almost all of us are left leaning on most important issues (healthcare, education etc). The left should have a layup every election and manage to **** up, that's bewildering to me but they'll seemingly keep making the same mistakes if threads like this are anything to go by. "Everyone voted wrong!!!"

Mate, your hot takes aren't great.

Harris ran a very good campaign. No, not perfect. But good. She is expected to be flawless though. Never slip up, never say the wrong word, never look the wrong way or do the wrong thing.

Meanwhile Trump ran a campaign full of lies and hatred. He said everything wrong. He slipped up constantly, forgetting where he was, who he was running against, and even pretended to give head to a microphone.

Take just a moment to step back from your 'lel teh left suck' perspective and think about your expectations here.

If you're left leaning on most important issues, but supporting Trump, shouldn't that tell you the trick the parties like the Republicans are running on you is working?

You're actively willing to vote against the most important issues to you, in order to 'own the libs' on some fringe issue?

You're smarter than this burge.

You can't expect people who care about 16,000 slaughtered children in Gaza to get off their couch and vote for her.
Absolutely you can if you dont want it to be 50 thousand children

Harris was gazas only hope. But they had to wait until after the election.

Trump is going to arm israel to the teeth and cheer them on without restraint. By not voting for harris they have sadly signed gazas death notice.

Bad news for Harris. Trump is leading in Centre County in Pennsylvania, which both Biden and Clinton won. Trump is leading in Northampton County in Pennsylvania.

I feel like it's tough for Harris to win Pennsylvania.

It doesn't work that way

Nebraska I think gets run down based on how close the presidential vote still is
