Have been watching the trainwreck at AFL house.
OX with no less than 9 changes for tomorrow's game vs Uni Blues.
What a debacle. Is Lethlean one of the ins for this week? Dills certainly won't be as he'll be far busier now...

If they won with 9 changes, it would be a great effort. They seem to have had most of their guns most weeks over the past two years-handley, goss. noonan, wynn etc don't seem to miss too often.
I would like to know how many games goss and handkey have missed in the past two years.. the kick 40% of the goals and rarely seem to missBeen lots of injuries and absentees CC. Often missing 25 of their best 22. Just grit and determination and favouritism has got em over the line many times. Think back to playing Uni Blues not at the Uni Oval last year. A joke!

About 12 between them I believe.
Even you don't believe that .. gods has missed ( not including tomorrow ) two games in 18 months
Seriously OTP. What is going on here? I used the work Speaking in a response and you jumped in.
Crazy stuff!!
Xavs officially under the pump. I believe a crisis meeting is being held tonight. Lethlean to chair it.
(Sorry couldn't resist)
On a serious note, the Xavs team sheet is lacking the class of others this year. It may have been the case last year but somehow 3 finals were won. I can't see a reserection this year but you never know.
Blues top dozen very classy. I think they may be the ones to have a crack against one of the top 2 in the Prelim. Will be a ripper.
Relegation battle will go down to the wire. Get to 20 points and you are safe.
Belter of a year.
At least OX have good depth and play all the bottom teams in the run home. They are still right on the mix. De La, with no depth and a stack of quality absentees, face the top 3 teams all away in the closing rounds and are very much under the pump.
Bellers very lucky to win today against an also undermanned St Bedes. Seems most sides impacted by injury and unavailability but clearly SKOBs, Blues and Collegians have the top end class and overall depth to cover it better than the others.
Cannot believe how badly Trinity are going. Have pretty much their GF side intact and seem to have far less injuries than other clubs but just not firing a shot.

Is the 2017 VAFA Premier Grand Final going to be on a Saturday or Sunday?

Hi readers, long time watcher and first time poster, a Victorian trapped in NSW.
I must say I enjoy the VAFATV coverage, it keeps me sane.
The relegation battle is heating up, from all appearances OT look like they have the cattle to survive, in fact I had a look at their game from the weekend on tv. Unlike the previous game against St Bede's where they appeared to give up in the last quarter, Trinity had a real crack on the weekend, but from what I could see, were just beaten by a really slick St Kevin's.
The question must be asked, has their coach stayed on too long, considering Dale Bowers has left and is doing amazing things at Scotch? Was he the real brains behind the scenes?
I also note that several of their players are very 'vocal' on social media about other VAFA clubs, have they created a rod for their own backs?
FWIW surely not banned for this post?
I would think it is someone using an alias. If so, you'd expect it would have been deleted by now. Most likely a second post which was deemed worthy of a suspension.
OTP I think BF head honchos had better make sure you have your Working with Children credentials up to date.Bedford, you've gone from hitting the bullseye yesterday to kicking out on the full from within the goalsquare today. Not even the same ballpark.
Canada, let sleeping dogs lie please.
Chaos, I'm not playing whack-a-mole with you and BS. I'll just kick it upstairs and both of you will be sorted out. Start talking footy and leave the banter to the intellectuals.
