Working on a topic for this week's podcast. The A Grade quartets!

Which club has the best/strongest starting 4 in the centre when everyone is fit & available (Including back from VFL/Injury)?

Xavier - Holmes, Beetham, Merlo, Bewick
Uni Blues - Cordy, T.Young, Quinn, O'Shea
St Kevins - Lynch, Wood, Brown, Sullivan
Collegians - Penberthy, Hylton, Michie, Hibbins
OM's - De Steiger, Paule, Borthwick, Daish
Brighton - Filipovic, Hill, Pavlou, J.Davis
St Bernard's - O'Halloran, Bentick, Peart, Kazuro
Trinity - Thompson, Hamilton, Tinney, Steinhart
De La - Forato, Nicholson, Griechen, Gotch
Carey - Coull, Lock, Z.Adam, Cust

I know the midfield is so much more than 4 players, but this question is around when you need your best 4 mids (rucks included) in the heart of the centre. Who are you picking?

Think it'll make for a great discussion

Awesome JP.
Hard to split the top three on the VAFA ladder and hard to split them here.
I can feel splinters up my rear..

Blues - by plenty
Trinity - a MUST win for them
Xavs - toss of a coin this one
Bernards - in a HUGE upset and coz we can’t be horrible every week, can we?
SKOBS - by plenty

Collegians looking like they'll be turning this thing into a four horse race as the season wears on...big names on the mend and returning with haste. If their best aren't taking European sabbaticals to the Greek Islands like others, be wary of the Purple Haze when they string together a few wins on the Trott. Could it be a three-peat grand final? A small part of me is beginning to think so.

Agree, they will slowly build into a real chance as the season wears on. Don't forget they were the best team throughout 2018, just couldn't get it done on the last day.

With 4 genuine flag contenders this will be the closest at the top it's been for a while.
