VFL VFL pre-season 2025 (list changes, updates)

Probably for the best. He wants to get drafted and if you're not a regular (like a Glover, Lane etc) in a aligned side, it makes it hard.
He only played 7 games this year, so don't blame him for looking for more opportunities.

only the ones who have been announced at other clubs but you would think Rye Penny and Tomasiello might try elsewhere.

Yeah havent heard anything about those two yet. Pre-season will be in a few weeks so I'll keep an eye out.
Not sure if Eyre will come back to pies VFL, another watch.

I'm looking forward to pre-season, gonna be a lot of new faces. Interesting to see who we recruit.

The AFL listed players weren't great last season when playing in the VFL. The VFL boys were unfairly blamed for the poor performances of the team. In 2023 a very strong team, full of AFL players, was smashed by Williamstown in a final.

Were cooked I felt. I was there and the boys couldn't explain what happened, but had a really good wildcard game v richmond the week prior.

the first improvement for the VFL program, compared to last season would be training at a proper venue in the pre-season. Trainining at a school with 'just ok' facilities last year was rubbish

Yeah that wasn't ideal, as they were re-doing the AIA turf prior to christnas

Only 3 were regulars, so maybe wont hurt too much. But definitely a big turnover happening.
