I'm an idiot...I couldn't give a stuff what you think. At least my objectivity isn't clouded like yours seems to be - one of his mates are you?

I don't like players that are hogs. You can have Nahas. He's 175cm and 64kg, there's a lot of that type around who I prefer. Give me Daniel Nicholls or Josh Bowe anyday.
U tool! In future keep ur opinions to ur self cause u never have anything good to say. And why do u think i am one of his mates? because i know talent when i see it.

4th best for little robbie Nahas!

4th best in the ones done by Matt Burgan on afl.com.au

See where he is in tomorrows paper. They're the legit ones.

Go through your post history, you talk Nahas up a few times.

Just okay :D :D

Just read Matt Burgan's report on the game and said Spangher played really well and he put him in the best.

I have read Burgan's articles before and I think he sometimes talks alot of trash.
ur thoughts?

spang will be in the bests in the paper tomorrow. Was very good, took some grabs, provided heaps of run.

Who was no2 for Vic Metro?

robin Nahas

Beau Dowler was a shining light up forward against a tall WA backline. nathan Jones also played well. If i could pinpoint a fault in his game it would be that he does not always take the 1st option and was forced to bang long to a contest.
For Wa, leroy Jetta was exciting. garrick Ibbotson heard footsteps and I was dissapointed at Clinton Benjamin, partly due to the hype I had heard about him although he is still young.

I hadn't seen any of these guys play until today as I have committments elsewhere.

I was really impressed by Spangher - No.3 I think. Moved really well in the backline, has plenty of size, made a few blunders with his disposal but backed himself. I definitely thought he was in the better players.

Mitch Clarke had a bit of a shocker - seemed like he was frustrated and kept giving away bad free kicks. He looks big and strong though and can obviously play a lot better than that.
Jetta could be a gun but isn't old enough for this year's draft.
WA has some good athletic talls - Ryder, Kennedy, Gumbleton?, Oakleigh-Nicholls - but were well beaten in the middle. I like the look of Jones - strong and aggressive midfielder.
Dowler - enough said.

Thought Spangher was great. Played a lot like Luke Mcpharlin.

couldnt agree more. he and drum seem to be the defenders of this years draft, although it is still early

loved nahas' game, but murphy, boy, brisbane will love him. dowler really impressed, on the other hand, mitch clark, well, ray jordan didnt think much of his game at all! swallow for wa will be a player, tried hard all day, so did heise, and conway impressed me, needs to back it up during the week to make any impressions stick. wa will be alright, they are too good on paper

Anyone wanting to join the Matt Spangher band wagon are most welcome, there is still room but seats are filling fast! Just keeps getting better. :D

Nahas was good but Dicko gave him a rev up at 3/4 time for letting Jetta get away. Wants him to think about his defensive side and I agree.

Dowler - Just booked his ticket to Carlton or Hawthorn

Nicholls impressed and Jones was outstanding, I've turned full circle on him.
Murphy - There aren't enough superlatives.

WA
Clark would want to make it as a ruckman as he was run off continually today when he played forward. Will get killed by quality defenders who attack at the next level.
Ryder - Was excellent and I was impressed by the way he continually presented at contests.
Bower - Like the look of this kid. Went of injured late I believe but showed signs. A good mover, and one of the youngsters.
Gumbleton was better in the second half and showed promise. The only question mark was the marks he took up forward weren't on the number one or two backman. I'm probably being a bit hard, alot to like for next year. Likely that he'll go high in 2006.

Many say nahas is too small and wont get drafted!
surely if not drafted the kid must go close to getting rookied, clubs may build on him, only 3 cm's shorter than murphy?

Murphy is a class above the rest though!!!!!
Unlucky for Carlton he will go father/son.

Nahas if drafted would go late in the draft or rookie listed, wouldnt be a bad player to give a couple of years on the rookie list to

As for Murphy, dont know if he would go no1, Carlton would more likely take a Dowler and someone else, Murhpy would probably go about pick 5 or 6
Collingwood wish! Has Eddie already promised him a gig on the Footy Show if he doesn't go to Brisbane? Pity,he'll be snapped up before the Pies can pinch another Lion. :p
