Re: Votes v Brisbane

5. Deledio
4. Cousins
3. Tuck
2. Collins
1. Martin

Special mentions to Newman, I suppose if he was a youngster I would have given him votes. Consistently very good. Angus Graham too, worked his way into it after getting flogged early, and really was a big part of the win.

5 - Martin - GUN GUN GUN
4 - Cousins - Best game in Richmond colours so far....
3 - Newman - The un-wallacefying, de-bowdening continues...:thumbsu::eek::thumbsu:
2 - Graham - GUS GUS GUS
1- Collins - footballer....

Hons: Lids, Cotch , Nason , Farmer , Thursfield, Connors, Tuck....this is the minimum required every week...5 in votes and 7 honourables...at least 12/22 worthy of singling out...:thumbsu:

Worst: Jackson ...sorry fanboys & kiddies but he's just plain D-U-M-B DUMB & Tambling...you're looking like a replay in a live action world...

You must have been watching a different game to me Mario
He played on Sherman and killed him and that is his main role in the side.
As for his own possessions he did screw up a few times but so does everyone.
You are so blinkered when it comes to Jackson that you have lost the ability to even see things that he does well and you never seem to notice how often and how well he beats his opponent or his clearance work.

5-Delidio
4-Graham
3-Martin (we have to get him to sign ASAP so I can sleep at night.)
2-Tuck
1-Cousins

A few names I have to give credit to. Edwards, Collins and White. This could be a defining game for them.

Big Knockers.

5 - Tuck...another dominant midfield performance from Tucky and the way he's finished off games this year and put in four very solid at worst quarters has been fantastic. He's been crucial in getting us over the line each win...when we look like faltering Tuck starts denying the opposition the ball with his superior ballwinning, fitness and hardness.

4 - Graham...perhaps just shaded in the ruck, but he still had his usual kind of ratio of hitouts to advantage while at least negating Clark and Leuenberger, competed well in the air around the ground, and ran himself ragged all night to claim a staggering 23 possessions. Another top game from the big fella, he's been as important as anyone in our improved performances.

3 - Deledio...just thrilled to see him dominate the backline two games running, he's been outstanding and grows more influential week by week.

2 - Martin...damn this kid's good, there'll be nothing that can stop him once he's had a few years of AFL conditioning, he's going to be a Voss-like human bulldozer with a serious set of skills.

1 - Reiwoldt...snuck Jack in for a vote because his performance was just so professional tonight. Didn't get anything handed to him, took his chances well in front of goal, pressured hard all night when he didn't have the ball, came up with the goods at the right moments in the game, just the sort of baseline perfomance we want from him.

Newman and Thursfield very unlucky, both were great tonight, Collins and White were also superb again across half forward, thought it was Collins' best game for us and his recent performances along with those of Connors and and Edwards make our future midfield look deep and drool-worthy. :D

Connors and Farmer both very solid across half-back (anyone still want Raines back? ;)), Cousins and Edwards were both excellent linking up on the wing, Edwards particularly was very important for us with his rebound and ground coverage, he did very well at either end and linking up through the middle, lot to like about Vickery and Astbury's games tonight too. Little Jake King was not too bad either, really gave us an important lift with his 3rd quarterafter a patchy 1st half.

Excellent team effort overall, good spread of goalkickers (including getting them from midfield), we outplayed and outran the Lions all over the ground, smashed them in close and held our nerve very well to prevail in a tight and tough last quarter - magnificent effort when you consider how young and inexperienced many of the key contributors are.

Worst: Jackson ...sorry fanboys & kiddies but he's just plain D-U-M-B DUMB & Tambling...you're looking like a replay in a live action world...

Jackson's tackle in the centre turned the game at a pivotal moment - the way he made the first contest from the hitout, then sprang to his feet and landed the tackle that won us the free was sheer brillance. There were countless instances of him forcing the ball our way in close, including White's snap from the square, his tackling was superb, and none of his successive opponents influenced the game at all. Several of his inside-50's were booming kicks to a dangerous part of the forwardline which ended in goals.

Jackson and Tuck have been crucial to our revival this year, they've both been terrific - learn to live with it.

6. Hardwick - the only man with kahoonas big enough to make the correct decisions at the club for 30 years!

5. Deledio - our new quarterback.
4. Newman - our quarterbacks offsider
3. Graham - if he could add a bit of polish he would be VERY good
2. Martin - our version of a sherman tank with skill!
1. Edwards - much maligned player getting better by the week and that goal!!!

Also Cuz, Collins, Tuck and Jacko probably up there as well. Just shows it was a great team effort!
