I thought Goldy was dumb AF today. He hit the ball to the dogs so many times. Took some good grabs early, undid all that with that effort on a bloke called Tory.......FFS. He’s soft. Always has been always will be.
On another note, our skills by hand are f@#king shithouse.

They were all over our set up.

Goldy is a deft "tap to feet" ruckman and to their credit they made sure they got position inside our boys and had first hands on thepill.

Added to their superior spread off the ball, that equated to a clearance smashing.

Would have liked to see Daw attend more centre bounces, if only to break the predictablity.

Oh I don't/didn't take it that way.

But I've said a few times over the past 6-7 weeks that his run and spread is very important for our side, even if he doesn't touch the ball. He's hard running opens the play up. And he can run all day.

Went off at 3QT today so I'd say he will be back in straight away.

The club knows what we need to I expect a much quicker NM next year.

Cunnington was a lot quieter today, but that happens when the game is purely played on the outside.

Structurally we were very poor today.

To be honest with Goldstein you'll find there were an enormous amount of bounces that didnt get recalled that went straight to Trengove. Should be questioned to say the least.

I've been banging on about this for a month or two.....not on here though.

Happens all the time. Like so many other rules; like the drop of the knees. They bring them in, enforce them for a bit and then they don't bother.

It's like the umpires either don't like the embarrassment from getting heckled or they are just wanting to keep their rebounce stat numbers low. Either way I am sure they would get reviewed by the umpire heads....well you'd hope so.

Obviously Cunnington and Ziebell are guns and keepers but we can’t seriously compete against teams prepared to take us on with run and carry.

Wright is a definite delist and I’d love to trade Dumont as part of the Polec deal.

Trengove isnt a ruck, Goldstein in the top 6 this year........completely changes our game and swings the advantage their way.
But with the rule makers completely fracking up the game with so many rule changes , its easily overlooked.

If an umpire could deliberately bounce to favour one side then.......this creeps into a dangerous area credibility wise.

Wood just doesn’t hurt the opposition enough.

His constant misses from set shots are very deflating.

He should be more influential considering he is the 3rd banana and getting a lesser defender.
