W.A have an interesting batch of players. Plenty of low floor high ceiling selections.

Boxshall in my eyes is the bolter and he reminds me a heap of Starcevich in his draft year. At worst, I can see him as a lockdown defender with great rebounding potential.
Urquhart I am sharks homer and love his potential, strong player with great burst and a long kick. Plenty of AFL qualities moving forward.
Gerreyn - I cannot judge these players, just worry he is inbetween a ruck and a forward. Not big enough for a ruck and maybe not mobile enough for a modern day forward.
Davis - Could be anything, but has some bust potential.
Hayes - Wing or bust maybe
Champion - Height and concussion issues
Angove/Artemis - I have a soft spot for both these players.
Dennis/Bell - Could be solid late round defenders, they may need 3/4+ years on a list before showing their worth.

Gerreyn is nearly the most interesting prospect in the entire draft I reckon.

Can he or can't he hold down full forward and pinch hit in the ruck for 5 minutes per half?

I think he's mobile enough. I have no worries with his agility and his ability to sidestep. I have no problem with his determination and agression. I just want to see (assuming he get's drafted) that he can outmark defenders his own size. Not many 199cm defenders at 18's level, either in the champs or in colts. So it's impossible to make a valuation. Not enough positive or negative data.

I reckon he has to use his mobility and take a run and jump at the marking contest rather than standing side by side in a battle of muscle.....well, at least he must mix it up and do a lot of jumping and maybe a little wrestling. And of course, like any forward, he has to lead up.....which he can. Well anyone can lead.

Ok, fair call. I'll keep a close eye on that wherever he ends up.

Haha.....maybe he could be the first 199cm midfielder? He kind of was a mid this year.

I love the WA Indigenous fellas and I wish him well. Not long to go now until the names are called out.

He's an interesting story, I would not be shocked if AFL read BF and noticed a youtube video of him here and thought he was a good story. BMX guy that has moved into the AFL.

In saying that, I do think he will get picked up, plenty to like about the kid. (I drafted him in the phantom draft)
