Clearly JW is another player, along with Bootsma, Garlett, Warnock, Robbo, Laidler and Lucas, that MM with his superior man-management techniques has been able to get the best out of. . . . . oh, . . . . waite. :(

Well anyway we have kept Juddy.:)

(Tin hat in place).

Thanks for the Membreys, JW. Saad to see you leave for Jaksch **** but Bleased that the club wasn't Lyon about not offering you a flat second year. Jones-ing to find out who your replacement will be and am looking forward to Reid-ing all the speculation on Twitter over the next few weeks!

That's fine. He will play at 32 next year and his durability has been dubious for some years now, as has his temperament. Not much use to where we are at right now.

Not sure he will be of much use to where Norf are at right now either, but good luck to him and to them.

Yep. Without those we're a certainty for the spoon next year.

We'd be a whole lot better off if Gibbs, Murph, Walker, Jamo, Simo, Yaz, Bucks, Menz, Graham, Levi, Lachie and Judd clashed with MM instead.

31 years old, injury prone, inconsistent, no great loss for the Blues.
Don't blame the guy.....
Gave us many good years of service....
Free Agency gives him a chance at a 2 year deal, big $'s and a chance at playing deep into finals.....
Good luck with your move to.....
Now let's focus on getting some of the GWS youngsters and boosting our stocks....

Collingwood had to shed itself of some stalwarts/favourite sons before it's success (Lockyer, Burns, Licuria etc). I am confident Jarrad was never going to be part of our next flag. Apart from Carrots and Simmo, one of the last players from our dark era.

Exactly when did MM back over your dog, Windy? What type was it cause BF might do a whip-around to help you move on.

Always hard to lose a young and upcoming tall. He has so much potential to be a focal point for our forward line!

Oh wait, it's 2014 and not 2006. It's hanging onto players like Waite and relying on their "potential" that has gotten us no where. Thank god he has gone. Just wished we cut him loose three years ago and used the cap money on a real forward.

We offered one-year, North have offered him two, who knows what another club has offered him.

The simple fact is that he was always going to go to the highest bidder. At his age and with only couple more seasons in the game, it is the obvious thing to do.

Exactly, 10 year player, life member, this year it seemed the writing was on the wall or one more year max, he gets an offer from another club......of course he'd consider it.

Was a bloody good player for us, and wouldn't reckon this is the first time he's been offered bucks from another club over the years.

There's nothing to gain by comparing him to other players. For all we know, he could well have been exactly the same up until recently. He is reaching the end of his career, has given the 'best' part of his life for us fans and members of this Club. One door closes, another opens with new players welcomed to the club this year.

God forbid, but maybe one day Bucks will wear another jumper too. Things change over time and the best we can do is accept them with grace IMHO. The alternative just brings ya down.
DylBucks will never leave the club. He is like his dad... Navy Blue til he dies.

If only we had been able to get Lynch, Clark or White. There were no "Real forwards" out there that were gettable.

While I don't think it is a great loss long term, I am sad to see him move on and I think he undervalues what it means to be a one club player.
