Regardless if it was Bucks coaching or even Micky Mouse it would do nothing but harm to sack a coach after only 3 rounds. What kind of coach would want to coach for us knowing he could in the future be sacked after only 3 rounds?
However ...... if we get smashed by 10 goals on ANZAC day then Bucks takes an early packet. Tapping comes in as care taker coach. If we do start winning games then we need to play finals this year or Bucks is out.
The list has tons of talent, it's just young and we were always going to find it tough defensively this year regardless. Who is going to stand up and be the barking general down back?

Brown is not a leader, he cant even put three words together let alone lead a team. Saw him smiling with Buddy franklin after his team just got pumped by 80+ points.

It seems the coach is now conceding that we need to change game plan. Hooray.
Depressing. Let's focus on this then, rather than sacking a coach early in the season in classic knee jerk fashion.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the first half of last season we had one of the best defences. Simplistically, why cant we go back?

The thing that stands out like dog balls at the moment is the huge discrepancy in uncontested possession and how much easier teams are scoring once the ball gets inside 50. Our inside/contested work is not too bad.
We need to find a way to stop opponents keeping the ball. I understand the forward press is dead, but for the next few weeks we need to be accountable to the man inside our forward half. We need to go the complete opposite of the zone in this half of the ground, then refine it back the other way.

I thought school holidays were over, guess I was wrong. Getting real sick of these "sack Buckley" threads when none of the OP's are suggesting replacements that are any better.

Hammer. Nail. Head. We got an leader ship group of 5 with 1 suspended, 1 in the VFL, 1 loyal teddy bear, 1 wannabe that excels only on the training track so far and a not 100% fit captain who can't get into the thick of it.
We need more from them and/or other seniors. For the backline, who are the others? William(injured ),Reid(not injured so far), Goldsack?

Ramsey shows some leadership with his courage for the contest, but hes gone.
I'd be looking to Varcoe and Sidebum to show some leadership this week. At the moment I don't see anyone throwing their body in to lead by example
Soft leadership team this year, even pendles he is an outstanding leader on field by leading through his play but doesnt strike me as a guy that would smack someone around with some "tough love"

whether it's a coach for 15years or 1 year previous, the point was sacking a coach after only 3 rounds into a season.
Until the GF rolled around unfortunately.
