You do realise McMahon is a defender right?

So he should be compared to our current backline, and see if he'd get a game in it.

Our best backline is:
Morris, Lake, Hargrave
Gilbee, Williams, Addison

Wouldn't knock any of them out of the side, but I'd reckon he'd be good enough to be the 22nd player picked in the side, which is what Ward is currently.

I would like to re-visit this thread in 2 years time.

I think that you would fit Tim Callan, Everitt and possibly even Reid in before McMahon would get that spot in defense - then there is Tiller although he would not play that sort role.

Jordan would be in the mix for selection if he was still at the Bulldogs. If he had have stayed he would had to have changed his game last year to adapt to the way we are playing.

What he has done is moved to another club and not had to do anything different or improve his game. He hasn't been forced to get in the gym, increase his fitness and put on weight which is what would have been needed to get a game at the Bulldogs.

Throughout 05/06 he played some pretty good footy, and if we were flying again and he had have improved then he would probably be in our best 22.

Even though he give Richmond a bit of a whack(with good reason) in taking Mc Mahon for our pick 19, we have to take some of the blame for taking him in at pick 10 in the 2000 draft to start with.

Here are some players that we overlooked to pick Jordy.
