Brisbane 15th
Port 16th
Gold Coast 17th

Want me to draw you a picture idiot?
Easy the TSW. This year is not as simple as in previous years.
GCS 8 games, Brisbane 9 and Port 10.

Would you like me to draw you a picture? How would I know that Brisbane are now 16th if I didn't know they had beaten the Crows?

Logic, my friend, logic.

hahaha you turnip!

You will be worrying about where we finish a lot more from now on.

There is nothing to look forward to @ the Crows.

K.Hunt looks more at home on a football field than Dangerfield. (... and Henderson, and Tippett)

Ah, the mentality of a Crowtard.

"My team got thumped by the woeful Brisbane. Might go troll Port."

Wooden spoon not a motivating factor

Not to the players apparently. The true Port Adelaide tradition. Yeah. Uh huh. As long as we're humble.

“I wouldn’t say it’s a motivating factor,” Gray said of the team’s desire not to ‘earn’ a wooden spoon. “We don’t talk about it that much. We focus from week-to-week and hopefully we can win a few more games before the end of the year.

“We’re definitely aware of it,” he continued, referring to the stain of finishing last on the ladder, “but like I said it’s not something we focus on.”

Re: Wooden spoon not a motivating factor

Oh dear god.

I hate this playing group, don't care what you say...I just have a strong dislike for their attitude and style of play (or lack of it)

Re: Wooden spoon not a motivating factor

Yet one of the common criticisms of our playing list is that they play with a fear of losing, not a desire to win.

Obsessing about wooden spoons would play more to the former than the latter.

Re: Wooden spoon not a motivating factor

If you worry about losing you tend to lose, if you worry about landing the wooden spoon you probably will get it. I'd rather we didn't use the spoon as a motivator.

Re: Wooden spoon not a motivating factor

Not since I stopped listening to 5aa

Re: Wooden spoon not a motivating factor

Just not this year when there is a smaller bonus

go ahead next yr win the spoon and get a pp so we have 1 and 3 and set up for a flag

Dont mind "winning" the ocasional spoon once every 15 yrs but only if that is combined with a premiership once every 15 years

Re: Wooden spoon not a motivating factor

If a spoon this year and/or next year means a flag in <5-7 years then I don't really see it as a motivation factor either.

Also a spoon next year could get us Lachie Whitfield, then i am all for it :thumbsu::D:thumbsu:
