Don’t think Day, Newk, Ward, Frenchie, Macca are being protected by your Oliver/Peddles/Danger/Bont etc types …… it’s not like the old days with kids starting out. From my calculations Ramma is now approaching 100kg from his natural growth, hard work and development.

Recall hearing a storey about Ted Whitten in his first game. Kicks a goal. Mopsy Fraser says to him you kick another goal you will not see the game out. Ted kicks another goal …….. he didn’t see the game out. Ramma doesn’t have to worry about any of this type of shit so put him in and have a crack Ramma san!

In a developing midfield I don’t think that is such a bad thing. Forces them to look up and pick their targets more. But yes I’m really keen to give him a shot in the seniors too.

Either way, he’s an exciting prospect. We’ve not had someone of his height and mobility with such a huge tank since ….that bloke we don’t speak of.

2 or 3 more weeks at VFL until Lewis is fit isn't going to make him "ready".

Every game he plays in the AFL he's learning. This is a learning year.

Going to be hard not to pick him next week.

I think it'll be quite easy not to pick him. He is playing very well, but he is still super raw, he would get eaten up at senior level with the bigger bodies. He also kicked at least two of his four from free kicks.

Let me him grow and feel dominant in the twos, he isn't going to be the difference we need at senior level right now. I think part of the challenge of rebuilding is not rushing young players (see Jack Watts).

I am incredibly bullish about him, but patience will be key here.

Huge dose of sugar syrup. Some of the stuff in Kosi's review last week was laughable - Kosi showed the ability to have the right attitude when it wasn't going his way, engaging in meetings pre-game and making sure he was showing that he was ready to perform.....

He obviously doesn't want to be negative, but he also doesn't lie and everything he says is the truth, it's just coated to be positive, there's no point posting negative things about a player on a club published report.

Agree he needs more work on his legs. He looks like Derm did back in the day. With Lewis at FF. Does that make Rama CHF? If so his mobility and tank will make him a weapon can’t wait but want wait till Mitch is there too
